Kenapa tuntutan e-Madani RM100 tunai anda ditolak....
6 sebab mengapa tuntutan percuma RM100 eMadani
anda ditolak & mengapa anda perlu merayu...

1) Warganegara Malaysia

2) Berumur 21 tahun ke atas pada 2023

3) Penerima Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah (setakat 7 November 2023)

Sebab 1 - Butiran Salah Seperti Nama Penuh Atau Nombor MyKad...

Sebab 2 - Tidak Mengisytiharkan Cukai Pendapatan 2022...

Sebab 3 - Tebus Berbilang Kali Menggunakan E-Dompet Berbeza...

Sebab 5 - Tidak Pernah Memohon Bantuan Kerajaan Atau Kemas Kini Pendapatan Terkini...

Sebab 6 - Anda Bukan Warganegara Malaysia...

- FT

The never-ending complaints
about eMadani application rejections...

Since its rolled out on Dec 4, there have been complaints about the RM100 eMadani initiative. The complaints range from elderly people having difficulties registering via apps or those facing outright rejections upon application even though they earn much less than RM100,000 a year.

The eMADANI is an initiative from the government for eligible beneficiaries with an annual income below RM100,000.This programme is estimated to benefit approximately 10 million Malaysians in the form of RM100 in e-wallet credit that can be used for purchases in brick-and-mortar businesses through participating e-wallet service providers.

Yet, not everyone is happy with the initiative. Some find it too little, while others are asking when the M40 will get help while the government plans to eradicate subsidies that benefit the M40 group.DAP Facebook page posted a list of ‘bantuan’ kerajaan that are earmarked for the year 2024. And this too was met with hostilities and rejections from social media users.

For Facebook user Tkk Tan these are all short-term aid initiatives. He wants to know what the government has in store for a long-term solution.

Not agreeing with the ‘bantuan’ initiatives, this user, Paramesvaran Karthigeyan had this to say:

And there were grievances over the rejections of the eMadani applications. – focusM

The hypocrisy of UN....

Palestine envoy slams
US veto on Gaza ceasefire...

Palestine's United Nations envoy Riyad al-Mansour slammed the UN Security Council’s failure to adopt a draft resolution seeking a humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza yesterday, Anadolu Agency reported.

The United States vetoed the resolution co-sponsored by nearly 100 UN member states. It received the support of 13 Security Council members. The United Kingdom, which, like the US, is a permanent council member with veto power, abstained.

Mansour (above) called the failure "beyond regrettable" and "disastrous".

"Instead of allowing this council to uphold its mandate by finally making a clear call, after two months, that atrocities must end, the war criminals are given more time to perpetuate their crimes. How can this be justified? How can anyone justify the slaughter of an entire people?" he said.

Mansour reiterated his call for a ceasefire, saying "every further day means lives lost, people killed at an unprecedented pace in modern history”.

The draft resolution called for all parties to the conflict to adhere to international law, particularly the protection of civilians, demanded an immediate humanitarian ceasefire and called on UN secretary-general Antonio Guterres to report to the council on the ceasefire's implementation.

The United Arab Emirates, which introduced the draft, said it worked to expeditiously complete the resolution due to the mounting number of dead over the 63-day war. Over 17,000 people have been killed in Gaza, according to official figures from Gaza authorities.

Women and children constitute about 70 percent of all those who have died, with more than 46,000 others wounded. Roughly 1.8 million Palestinians have been internally displaced. - Bernama-Anadolu

Wayar lebai putus tengah jalan...

Pulak dah...

- Raja Gelap 2

Perhaps we need a full 5 year dose of Tebuk Atap gomen....

What value do we hold to
Bahasa Malaysia as Malaysians?

We may not think much is “what level is my Bahasa Malaysia” and how much do I value such an item of “obscure importance”. This issue has come up recently in an incident whereby it was alleged that a Malaysian immigration officer (I assume a Malay) asked a Malaysian citizen to speak in Bahasa Malaysia during a passport renewal process.

When the applicant told the officer she could not speak Bahasa at all because she had been living in Singapore for many years, the officer was said to have scolded her for not being able to do so. Now, I do not know in what manner was this “scolding” action was said to happen, but I would say that, if true, this is certainly conduct unbecoming of a civil servant to the people of Malaysia.

But as it is, I have no information about such thing. What is certain is that to have one’s passport renewed, the ability to speak Bahasa Malaysia is not a requirement. Nevertheless, any counter service in the government of Malaysia must be in Bahasa Malaysia for all Malaysians, no two ways about It!

As usual, netizens, especially those from one particular news portal, now have a free-for-all wonderful time condemning the minister in charge, Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution when he affirmed that Malaysians must use Bahasa Malaysia in dealing at any counter service.

A passable rojak BM is acceptable, so long as one can communicate. If a Bangladeshi worker at a mamak stall can take our orders of teh tarik and nasi goreng ayam kicap very well after just a few months working here, I wonder what excuse would any Malaysian give for not having a rudimentary language of the country he or she was born in.

This shows that perhaps Umno was right all along that non-Malays treat BM as a kind of pariah language. The choice of many to send their children to vernacular schools has also been accused of estranging the race relations in this country. I have always maintained that it is OK for schools to teach justice, goodness, critical thinking and compassion in any language, but one must “master” BM to a certain degree.

I will elucidate a few anecdotes at the private university where I work in order to show that BM is not considered important at all or has very little worth to most non-Malays. In any interview of academic post, I will always test the BM proficiency of any non-Malay candidate. There are a few who are able to answer in acceptable BM, but there are also those who answer in English, not trusting their BM level.

I have never marked down any candidate as it is understood that the promotion is for their abilities to perform research, administration and publication, all in English, anyway! When the candidates asked me why I had “ambushed” them in BM, I simply smiled and said that in Malaysia, when you become Dean or Vice Chancellor, you will have to deal with clerks, officers and top management at the ministry level in Bahasa Malaysia.

I added that you must not only know how to speak the language in a formal manner, you also need to understand the adab or mannerism of the Malay culture. I told these candidates an anecdote where a Chinese Dean was explaining to an MQA officer saying “Kalau awak bagi tahu saya pasal ini borang then saya pun akan isi this form dan bagi pada awak.”

The use of the word “awak” to another person who is not a friend or family member is considered disrespectful. It should have been “maaf, kalau tuan/puan beri tahu saya tentang borang ini, saya akan isikan dan pulangkan kepada tuan/puan”. The word “maaf” is also part of the ensemble of the Malay etiquette even though one has not done anything wrong.

We come now to the question of why Malaysians are exceptionally “brutal” and “kurang adab” to the minister. The Home Affairs Minister has just held this portfolio for one year. Malaysians should understand three important things about management, culture and line of responsibilities.

Firstly, a minister would never talk down against any of the civil servant simply because the minister is a political appointment while the immigration officers are the responsibility of the Ketua Setiausaha Kementerian. Complaints about any civil servant must go through to the KSK for it is he or she that is responsible for hiring, firing and promotion.

Ministers like Saifuddin (above) may disagree on the manner of an immigration officer or the policy of hiring people who are not fluent in two languages and he can change that by making a new policy that would affect future hiring, promotion and firing staff.

New ministers must never make drastic changes to any ministry until they understand the culture and practices of the civil servants as well as comprehend the backgrounds of why things are the way they are. I would assume that any of us who could be appointed in Saifuddin’s shoes will probably take a year or two to settle in and then only make strategic changes with care and cultural decorum.

The civil service is not like a private corporation where the new owner or CEO can fire and hire at their own whims and fancies. I have been observing, speaking, reflecting and writing politics of nation-building for 24 years now.

I once thought that it was the Malays who were mainly at fault for many things in this country. But after one year of the Unity Government rule and two years of PH rule, I begin to think that Malaysians with the power of the internet and anonymity given by certain media portals for government bashing may also be equal in fault to the Malay supremacists that were once within Umno.

But now, I see Islam as a religion being weaponised by PAS and Bersatu, race being radicalised by the same two parties and Malaysians who phrased their opinions in a most sickening and disgusting manner without thought on their own faith and spirituality are the three combo that will destroy this nation.

It does not help that we also have a popular news portal which seems to sell “negative comments in a derogatory manner” as a marketing tool for self advancement. Perhaps in the coming year, Anwar and the Unity Government are not what Malaysians need. Perhaps we Malaysians need a full 5 year dose of Sheraton Movers to perhaps teach us some lessons in spiritual and nation humility. - Prof Dr. Mohd Tajuddin Mohd Rasdi

Malaysia has become accustomed to assessing the government frequently due to the turnover of numerous failed administrations. This fear of being let down again is understandable. Perhaps, let this current government complete its five-year term before deciding on change.

Realistically, we can't continue switching governments annually since the Sheraton Move. This political shift, led by Mahathir, left us with everyone looking out for their own interests and none for the betterment of Malaysia. - Kamsiah Haider

Kalau Umno kuat macam sebelum Pilihan Raya Umum 2018, bolehlah gebang.

Tengoklah keputusan Pilihan Raya Kecil Parlimen Kemaman 2 November lepas. Mana ada DAP di Kemaman? Kalau ada pun berapa kerat sangat. Tapi Umno kalah juga walaupun letak bekas jeneral dan Pakatan Harapan tak bertanding macam masa PRU tahun lalu.

Pengundi bukan tolak bekas jeneral. Dia bukan buat salah apa pun.

- a.kadir jasin

PN ineffective as opposition...

Posted by Kerah Lekung on Wednesday, 6 December 2023

PN ineffective as opposition....

One year after becoming Malaysia’s opposition, Perikatan Nasional (PN), has failed as an opposition bloc, and will continue to be one for the foreseeable future, unless the leaders from Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) and Pas can change their thinking.

Political analyst Associate Professor Dr Azeem Fazwan Ahmad Farouk said the opposition bloc also lacks charismatic, young, and dynamic leaders who can appeal to Malaysians across the racial and religious divide. He suggested PN to try and convince former Umno Youth chief, Khairy Jamaluddin (below), to be a part of the opposition.

Khairy, who was against Umno joining Pakatan Harapan’s (PH) so-called Unity Government, was sacked from the party in January for violating its Constitution in the 15th General Election (GE15). “Bersatu and Pas do not have leaders that appeal to a multiracial and multireligious voter base,” said Azeem, director of the Centre for Policy Research, Universiti Sains Malaysia.

“(Tan Sri) Muhyiddin (Yassin) and Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi (Awang) are 76, and Datuk Seri Hamzah (Zainuddin) is 66. Former prime minister Muhyiddin also has legal battles to sort out. “Khairy will be 48 next month. Although he was an Umno man, he is still well-received by voters of all races and religions.”

Azeem said Khairy, or someone like him, is the type of person PN should consider having on its team. Khairy, or KJ to his ‘fans’, has already said he is “PN-friendly”, although he has not joined any of the PN component parties, which includes Gerakan.

“However, I do not think Khairy would want to be associated with Pas, unless the party softens its stance. He can act as the bridge between the so-called Islamists, and Malaysians of all races and religions,” said Azeem. “That is how PN can move forward without alienating other Malaysians, and remain true to its voter base.”

Azeem said a large group of voters are unhappy with the current government but would stick with PH rather than opt for a coalition seen as overly pro-Islam. “PN and Pas, in particular, only seem to raise issues that affect its voter base in the Malay heartland. So, they talk about banning concerts, such as the recent one by Coldplay,” said Azeem.

“How is that helping the country? The opposition must look at ways it can help Malaysia become better and show it can bring prosperity to the citizens if it is in power. “It must show that it is a coalition for all Malaysians as we are a multireligious, multicultural and multilingual nation.”

Separately, Azeem said Malaysia needs politicians – from both sides of the divide – to be more vocal in raising issues in Parliament. “Opposition parties are at a disadvantage in this case, as their effectiveness is dependent on the Speaker of the House, who is usually sympathetic towards the government,” said Azeem.

“For many years, we have heard about reforming the electoral and political systems, but since the fall of Barisan Nasional in 2018, nothing has been done towards that end. “We need to make the political system a lot more effective and give politicians more of a voice,” he added. -  Graig Nunis

Barisan kabinet PN,
bersih lagi kabinet Ikea...

Heboh dah walaun sebut Samsuri jadi PM ke 11. Mana pergi Sanusi? Sebelum ni kata Sanusi? Cepat betul dia tukar. Macam lagu Lestari, Sekelip Mata Kau Berubah.

Setakat hari ni, Mahiaddin masih lagi pengerusi PN. Jadi rasanya, sebelum berangan jadi PM, Samsuri kena jadi Pengerusi PN dulu. Baru betul!

Si Fawwaz tu jadi MP pun tak reti nak selesaikan isu rakyat. Kalau beginilah muka yang diketengahkan, dan kalau betul muka-muka ni jadi menteri, memang jahanam la negara dibuatnya. Sama macam masa zaman Pagoh dan Bera jadi PM dulu. Hancur!

Atok kata, dia dikhianati. Rupa2nya itu semua hanyalah sandiwara belaka....

Today 6/12/23,Israel has bombed another school in Gaza...

A massive PAS win in Kemaman jolts Bersatu...

Posted by Kerah Lekung on Monday, 4 December 2023

A massive PAS win in Kemaman jolts Bersatu....

Terengganu Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar (above) won the Kemaman by-elections with a massive 37,000 vote margin and for some, this is not good news for the party of former prime minister (PM) Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin and his party Bersatu who are partners of the PAS in the Perikatan Nasional (PN).

Ahmad Samsuri got 64,968 votes to defeat the Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate Brig Gen (B) Raja Mohamed Affandi Raja Mohamed Noor who only got 27,839 votes. Some PAS supporters are already saying the MB won more votes than PM Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. Jokingly, they are suggesting that the PM should be someone who has won by a bigger margin.

Analysts and online commentators suggest that given PAS’s endorsement of Ahmad Samsuri as the next premier or PM11 candidate, backed by former premier Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, he should assume the position of the new leader of the opposition in Parliament.

Currently, it is Larut MP Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainuddin who is the opposition leader but his party is seeing the defection of some of its MP which is weakening Bersatu’s influence in the PN. While everyone is waiting for a Cabinet reshuffle to be announced by Anwar, it is the opposition benches in Parliament that are getting shuffled.

Five members of the Bersatu have left the opposition benches and some of them are already sitting as independents in Parliament. They promise there are more to come. On the other hand, if the PAS wants to challenge Anwar for the post of PM, Ahmad Samsuri should play a bigger role in Parliament and not sit as a backbencher while Hamza gets grilled by the government backbenchers and ministers.

In an editorial piece, Harapan Daily portal wrote that with Dr Mahathir’s endorsement of Ahmad Samsuri as the next PM candidate, Bersatu is entering the eclipse phase. The portal says Muhyiddin was also not present when Dr Mahathir announced who should be the next PM if the opposition were to grab power.

“This also means that Bersatu, or more precisely, Muhyiddin cannot dream of his address in Seri Perdana. This by-election has made Bersatu irrelevant in the opposition alliance – Perikatan Nasional,” says the editorialist.

There are indeed many questions that are raised about the strategy adopted by the PAS in the Kemaman elections. It put into question the role and use of Muhyiddin who is leading the PN with a smaller number of MPs now.

With the PAS firmly sitting as the backbone of the PN coalition, will it leave the most important parliamentary role in the hands of a waning Bersatu? It is the role of the opposition leader in Parliament that reflects whether the opposition is ready to become a worthy alternative to the ruling government. So what is the point of Hamzah being the leader of the Opposition when the support and backbone of the PN is PAS and the Bersatu is losing to Anwar? – focusM

Tempat asing baginya.

Samsuri berani ke? Cuba suruh Samsuri bertanding di Penang. Atau JB la. Tengok berani tak. Lagipun lawan Samsuri bukan pemimpin utama UMNO. DS Anwar pula lawan Timbalan Presiden Bersatu.

Ikut logik PAS,lagi tinggi majoriti,
lagi layak jadi PM...

DS Anwar baru setahun jadi PM. Berderet pencapaian DS Anwar. Ikutkan, Samsuri tu nak jadi SU Politik PM pun tak layak. Tak payah banding dengan DS Anwar la. Bandingkan dengan Amirudin Shari, MB Selangor. Tempoh mereka berdua jadi MB sama. Tengok apa yang MB Amir dah capai berbanding Samsuri.

Walaun kena hentikan bermimpi ambil alih kerajaan. Benda tu takkan berlaku. - Raja Gelap II

Sanusi has crossed the line in desecrating a religion & humiliating a human being...

The PAS strongman and Chief Minister of Kedah, Sanusi, has done it again. In a single statement meant perhaps to make fun of the Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing, Sanusi let loose his lidah celupar or filthy tongue in describing Tiong as “Eh muka dia kalau saya ajuk, jadi macam tokong hat kepala botak tu, Hat perut buncit tu”.

In a single mouthful or arrogant and distasteful words, Sanusi has, in my opinion, crossed the line of our Rukunegara in desecrating a religion of our people and has dishonoured a race and a person of that same race, the Chinese. Both the Kepercayaan Kepada Tuhan and the Kesopanan dan Kesusilaan principles have been totally disregarded by this poor choice of a wakil rakyat.

If there ever is a person that should be put in prison and the keys left in a longkang, this is the man. In retorting this disgusting statement, Tiong had only thrown a biadab statement to Sanusi as a person, but not to his race nor his religion, by saying that he, Sanusi, must have water in his brain.

For MPs to be calling names of each other, both of them should be ashamed and reprimanded by the YDP Agong and be reminded of their professionalism and mutual respect for one another as human beings. But Sanusi upped the ante in desecrating a religion many understood perhaps in reference to the Buddha statue.

If Sanusi were to say such thing as Tiong’s “perut buncit macam ikan kembong”, that might be considered an unprofessional and immoral conduct unbecoming not only as a Malaysian, but as a Malay, a Muslim and an elected official of a very high office.

The reference to the word “tokong” in Malay mostly denotes any Chinese or Indian shrine in the manner of resembling an animate object. As an “orang utara” myself, being born in Kepala Batas and schooled at St. Marks Butterworth, I am extremely clear on Sanusi’s intentions and intended targets. The tokong is usually referred to the statue deities of the Chinese people, and if it were Hindu shrines, northerners would refer to them as “patung Hindu”.

Furthermore, the words “buncit” and “botak” can be construed as a rude and crass description of a person. If one were kinder, one would have said “perut dia besar” and “kepalanya tak berambut”. And if you don’t like someone, you would just say “kepala botak” and “perut buncit”.

It is extremely clear to me, as an academic, a Malay, a Malaysian and a northerner, that Sanusi was being extremely rude to a person who has a high office. He has also made it clear of his disregard for other people’s religion in destroying a Hindu shrine and now a rude reference to a religious deity. Because the tokong is worshiped by mainly one particular group of Malaysians, Sanusi is guilty of dishonouring that race, the Chinese.

The Malays may like what he says and he is certainly popular for it. But as a Malay, I am ashamed that he has dishonoured my race who is known for “Kesopanan dan Kesantunan”. Muslims also seem to wrongfully adore him, and that is why PAS has won so many seats. But as a Muslim, I must tell Malaysians that this perangai of Sanusi and all those Muslims who adore him, has no place at all in the religion of Islam as practised by the Prophet Muhammad.

Sanusi’s Islam can be said to be a reflection of many religious preachers whom I have heard throughout my life as desecrators of other faiths. It seems the teaching of Islam by Malay teachers encourages making fun of and desecrating other fellow citizens’ faiths and beliefs. I hope JAKIM and all the religious departments clarify this issue of desecrating a tokong by words or deed as not being part of Islam.

Only the Friday sermon can deal a blow to this disgusting creature unfit to be a Malaysian or even a Muslim, much less a Malay. I If I had any power, I would rescind Sanusi’s citizenship at post haste and send him packing to whatever country that might want to accept him.

Sanusi’s actions and words, if not met with swift reprisals or a sorrowful apology to the religion that he desecrated, to the race that he dishonoured and to the man he humiliated, will encourage more disrespect between races, and religions and that would spell the end of our nation called Malaysia. The line of decency, morality and honour must be drawn right here, no further. - Prof. Dr. Mohd Tajuddin Mohd Rasdi

Using a 12 year to endorse a cabinet reshuffle is in bad taste...

Using a 12 year to endorse a cabinet reshuffle is in bad taste... .

Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim shared a lighthearted moment with the media today, agreeing in jest that he should reshuffle his Cabinet before the end of the year. Reporters had approached Anwar after performing Friday prayers at Surau Al-Amin here to ask about speculation that a Cabinet shake-up could take place soon.

Anwar then asked 12-year-old Akmal Afif Yasser Arafat, who was also there to perform the prayers, to answer the queries on his behalf. “When do you suggest (the Cabinet reshuffle should happen)?” Anwar asked Akmal, to which the boy cheekily responded, “2024”.

The prime minister then asked if he should reshuffle his Cabinet before or after the end of the year. The child replied, “Before.” Anwar then turned to the media and said he agreed with Akmal’s recommendation.

Earlier today, FMT reported that a Cabinet shake-up is on the cards and will likely involve the appointment of a new health minister, according to two sources in the know. A high-level PKR source who spoke on condition of anonymity said the reasons for Dr Zaliha Mustafa’s supposed removal from the portfolio were unclear.

In the event that Dr.Zaliha (above) is dropped, the source said, the favourite to replace her would be education minister Fadhlina Sidek, while natural resources, environment and climate change minister Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad would take over the education portfolio.

As for the post of domestic trade and cost of living minister, which has been vacant since the death of Salahuddin Ayub in July, the source said Shah Alam MP Azli Yusof of Amanah might be appointed to inject “fresh blood” into the Cabinet. The source said the reshuffle would see several deputy ministers swapping portfolios.

Meanwhile, a government source said the appointment of a second finance minister could not be ruled out, although any candidate would be appointed “from the outside”. The source, who declined to be named, also said the reshuffle is slated to take place next week. Speculation of a Cabinet reshuffle has been rife, and gained currency after Anwar himself said in October that he was considering it... - fmt

Jangan lama sangat peram tapai...

- mso

PAS OKkah with western,entertainment-oriented
concerts if Muslims are excluded?...

After all the brouhaha over PAS allowing a concert to take place in its own backyard of Kelantan, state authorities have been forced to take action. It has been reported that the organisers of the Loy Krathong festival in Bachok will be fined RM10,000 for violating the conditions set for the event.

According to Bernama, Kelantan local government, housing, health and environment committee chairman Hilmi Abdullah said the event had a permit and did not breach the Kelantan Entertainment Control Enactment, contrary to claims by certain parties.

However, the organiser is facing a fine because the performers did not comply with the dress code while the People’s Volunteer Corps (RELA) officer failed to bar Muslims from entering the concert grounds.

It must be noted that there is clear signage at the Buddhist temple Wat Pathumviharn where the concert was held, prohibiting Muslims from entering. The question also needs to be asked is just how the RELA members were to clearly identify Muslim attendees, short of asking for their identity cards.

The fine is obviously to highlight that PAS is taking firm action after bellowing for the recent Coldplay (pix, above) concert in the National Stadium @ Bukit Jalil in Kuala Lumpur to be cancelled. Perhaps if there is a gig by foreign artistes in the future, PAS should insist that Muslims be banned from attending so as not to prevent fans of other faiths from enjoying some deserving entertainment? Sounds like a win-win situation … except for Muslim concert goers. – focusM
