Lobai kata ini agenda jahat DAP....

Beruk pun gelak berguling2....

Unpopular, unwanted
and untenable. Time to go!...

No, I’m not trying to be funny with this opener. I’m making a serious comparison.I think I can lump the state of the Perikatan Nasional (PN) government today together with Boris Johnson’s bad haircut. Include that in the state of our Malaysian nation today.

For the flamboyant British prime minister, the messier and more erratic it looks, the more satisfied and happier he is with his hair. To us, Malaysians, the PN government looks as messy and unkempt as Johnson’s head of hair, something which we would surely find culturally embarrassing and unacceptable.

But here we are, a once-proud nation of 32 million Malaysians, stuck in this untidily unfamiliar “neither here nor there” imbroglio with no clear leadership nor direction leading us towards salvation.

At least, Johnson has always been aware that the British people find his hairstyle out of sync and rather awkward. But that’s only the prime minister’s hair, not his style of governing the proud and mighty British Empire. Compare Johnson with Muhyiddin Yassin. The Malaysian prime minister is unpopular, unwanted and his position is now untenable. It’s time for him to go but he won’t.

So, as long as Muhyiddin wants to cling on, we will continue to be saddled with this huge mess with more uncertainties and miseries coming our way. I have not heard of an apology from Muhyiddin to the people for his many mistakes since coming into power 16 months ago (I stand corrected on this). If there has been one, it was never highlighted.

Never mind his bad taste in hairstyle, it’s more important that the British prime minister knows when he should say sorry. When a reporter told Johnson last year that his (the reporter’s) mother had a question for the prime minister, he sportingly obliged to answer it.

The reporter told Johnson that his mother wanted to know whether he ever brushed his hair, noting that it was all over the place, reminding the prime minister that he was now representing the country and the British people.

“Oh yes, I need a haircut really. I do have a brush in the office. I apologise to your mum but I do brush my hair,” Johnson responded, leaving the press boys present laughing aloud with him.

With Muyhiddin, I’m not sure if our local media people have ever shared a joke with the prime minister. Both sides are not to be blamed for not being able to laugh these days. Who is in the mood for banter when it is all so gloomy everywhere and everything seems so ‘dark’ even when it’s noon?

As I write this on a Saturday, the Health Ministry reported 9,353 new Covid-19 cases, a record high for the second consecutive day. There were also 87 deaths pushing the national death to 6,067. Who’s in the mood to be funny here? Morale sinking

As if that was not sad and worrisome enough, I also read the Malaysiakini report that as the Klang Valley suffered its worst-ever Covid-19 surge despite being under lockdown with the healthcare system on the verge of collapse.

Hospitals are running low on beds, oxygen supply, solutions and morale. How can staff morale be high if the Emergency Department and wards of some hospitals look like war zones in a disaster movie? The morale of frontliners is vital in this war against the pandemic and when it is lacking, immediate attention and solution are warranted.

The report that medical officers have resigned with 24 hours’ notice in the past few days is a very serious matter. They were committed and worked hard but they were said to be exhausted with the crisis and had lost hope.

When frontliners such as doctors and nurses lose hope in the health system, it means only one thing – Malaysia is not winning the battle against the lethal coronavirus and there will be more infections and more deaths.

This is where Muhyiddin and his PN government have failed and failed miserably. While Malaysians are dying and fighting for hospital beds, the prime minister is playing musical chairs within his cabinet and promoting his “undeserving” ministers.

How on earth will promoting ministers prevent more Covid-19 infections and deaths? Muhyiddin, it seems, is trying to put out a fire with both gasoline and water at the same time. What on earth is the prime minister thinking?

All the politicians have declared that this is the time to stop politicking and prioritise tackling the pandemic but who are the ones politicking and squabbling? The politicians themselves, who else!

Boris Johnson will be at Wembley Stadium to watch England take on Italy in her first European Cup final on Sunday night (Monday morning here). England is the favourite to win.

On July 19, Covid-19 restrictions will be lifted in the UK even as scientists have advised Johnson that it would be “premature” to do so. Britain could not have a more confident leader in Johnson today. The UK has a prime minister, himself a victim of Covid-19, who is able to provide leadership when it is needed most.

Seriously, I do not mind having a prime minister with a silly and awful-looking haircut as long as he is sure of himself, confident and possesses honest but firm leadership. And when he becomes unpopular, unwanted and untenable, I bet a guy like Johnson would know it’s time to leave No 10 -  unlike the current occupant of Seri Perdana here. - Francis Paul Siah,mk

cheers.

Atok tengah pegang kalkulator....

It’s a numbers game ultimately,  analysts say the people may have to wait for parliament to resume on July 26 for greater clarity. Till then, mr Muhyiddin remains as PM.  Meanwhile opposition is still seeking a compromised candidate...Melissa Goh

Umno’s Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz said there are at least 32 Umno MPs who are still supporting the PN government but believes more may hop on after party president Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi’s announcement.

Umno sources told reporters that the meeting had been fraught and that there were members who disagreed with Ahmad Zahid, mostly those who were in the PN Cabinet. However, Malay Mail understands that they do not make up the majority of the Umno supreme council.

Nazri was reported saying that the Umno MPs who are likely to remain firm in withdrawing support for the Muhyiddin government may be limited to Zahid who is Bagan Datuk MP, Pekan MP Datuk Seri Najib Razak, Pontian MP Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan, Machang MP Datuk Ahmad Jazlan Yaakub, and Gua Musang MP Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah.

He also dared the Umno supreme council to sack all 32 of its MPs “because we will definitely go all out about the decision”. According to Nazri, Ahmad Zahid wanted to be deputy prime minister and was not satisfied that his vice-president Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob was given the role. - MMO

Sabri and Hishammuddin promoted,
traitor Azmin out of Deputy PM residence...

As UMNO president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi continues to drag his feet, undecided whether to quit the Perikatan Nasional coalition or not, Prime Minister Muhyiddin decisively throws some bigger candies to two UMNO warlords to further split and weaken the United Malays National Organization. The decision came ahead of UMNO Supreme Council meeting tonight (July 7).

In a move to checkmate the weak and indecisive Zahid, Senior Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob has been appointed as Deputy Prime Minister, while at the same time retains his Defence Minister portfolio. Hishammuddin, meanwhile, has been promoted to take over Sabri’s Senior Minister post in charge of Security Cluster, while maintaining his Foreign Minister portfolio.

It was both a clever and desperate plan to foil UMNO president from an expected decision to formally exit from the coalition tonight, which will trigger the collapse of the Muhyiddin government. It was a clever plan because by giving a glamour deputy prime minister post to Ismail Sabri, the loyalty of Sabri faction is secured with Muhyiddin instead of UMNO.

“Turtle Egg” Sabri, overjoyed with his latest promotion, quickly accepted his appointment. Expressing his “deepest appreciation” to PM Mahiaddin, he asked all the people – regardless of race, religion, and political beliefs – to join hands to bring a better future for the country. Coming from the same man who defended a Malay thief in the “Low Yat” racial riots, his statement is laughable.

Perhaps Mr Sabri thought his intelligence has increased multifold after consuming truckloads of turtle eggs, so much so that Muhyiddin has decided to groom him as the future prime minister. In truth, there’s no provision in the Constitution of Malaysia for the office of Deputy Prime Minister, unlike the Vice President of the United States – the second most powerful man in the U.S.

Not only the Prime Minister of Malaysia can leave the office of Deputy Prime Minister empty, as what Muhyiddin had done since be was sworn in on March 1, 2020 until today, but he can appoint more than one Deputy Prime Minister. Still, the carrot was enough to buy the loyalty of simpleton Sabri, who is now forever grateful to the backdoor prime minister, whose popularity is plunging.

Hishammuddin Hussein with Keris

The simple fact that the Prime Minister Office says that Hishammuddin will assist Muhyiddin in the implementation of the Covid-19 National Recovery Plan speaks volumes about who is the new blue-eyed boy. In other words, Ismail Sabri is merely an office decoration and his promotion was largely because he commands the much needed UMNO MPs for the survival of Muhyiddin.

Of course, Sabri didn’t realise that, and even if he does, he won’t mind becoming a lame deputy premier. He would never have become the deputy prime minister had his own party ruled the country today. Based on his flip-flops, U-turns and double standards performance as the Senior Minister (Security Cluster) in charge of fighting the Coronavirus, he has failed spectacularly.

Even though Hishammuddin Hussein appears to be the new blue-eyed boy on the block, the fact that he was not promoted as deputy prime minister as speculated in preparation to take over the throne from Mahiaddin alias Muhyiddin has raised more questions than answers. It smells rat – as if there’s a deliberate attempt to put Sabri as an obstacle to prevent Hishammuddin from seizing power.

Likewise, Hishammuddin was equally grateful, extending his gratitude to the prime minister for his promotion. Without any senior position in his own party UMNO, Hishammuddin could not ask for more. Like colleague Sabri, perhaps Hishammuddin also thinks that his promotion was part of Muhyiddin’s chess play to prepare him for the ultimate throne – the 9th Prime Minister of Malaysia.

But it also shows that Hishammuddin did not command the so-called support of 25 MPs out of 41 Barisan MPs, as claimed by UMNO warlord Nazri Aziz, who admitted that he was the “mastermind” behind the latest political manoeuvre to obtain statutory declarations (SDs) from Barisan Nasional MPs in support of Hishammuddin. Therefore, Ismail Sabri is promoted instead to make up the numbers.

Interestingly, the divide-and-rule strategy may not only split UMNO and weaken Zahid’s leadership, but was also deployed to put Sabri and Hishammuddin at loggerheads. With both newly promoted UMNO warlords secretly thinking they are the favourite to become the next premier, when there isn’t any intention for Muhyiddin to step down, Sabri and Hishammuddin will be two very loyal suckers.

That explains why Hishammuddin was promoted as Senior Minister in charge of Security Cluster, but without the crucial Defence Minister portfolio. Similarly, Sabri was promoted as Deputy Prime Minister, but was tasked to assist the Prime Minister in managing the country. Does that mean Muhyiddin have failed in managing the country all this while, or was it done to flatter silly Sabri?

In the same breath, the promotions could also be interpreted as a desperate move by Muhyiddin to cling to power. Obviously he has used one of his trump cards (assuming he has more). The vacancy of deputy prime minister was designed to be empty in the first place to prevent PM Mahiaddin from being challenged, not to mention for the four senior ministers to check and balance each other.

More importantly, the sudden promotion of two UMNO warlords will disrupt the balance of power. What will happen to Azmin Ali, whom PM Mahiaddin had designated as the de-facto deputy prime minister? While Mahiaddin said when his new Cabinet was formed in March 2020 that all the four senior ministers are “equal”, he had also announced that Azmin will chair Cabinet meetings whenever he is absent.

The current situation is consistent with an article published last month (read here) – Civil War within PPBM and traitors in UMNO – where the prime minister was running out of time. Even if Gay Senior Minister Azmin cannot immediately become the prime minister, he should at least become the deputy prime minister by partnering with Hishammuddin Hussein.

The stunning elevations of Sabri and Hishammuddin means Azmin is out of favour. The most humiliation part is, the supposedly de-facto deputy prime minister has to pack and move out of the residence of the deputy prime minister. To make it more dramatic, Sabri and Azmin do not see eye to eye due to disagreement over the number of companies allowed to operate during the full lockdown.

Both Senior Ministers – Sabri (Defence Minister) and Azmin (Minister of International Trade and Industry) – had reportedly engaged in arguments that resulted in banging tables. The speculations that the Hishammuddin-Azmin tag team will become the next prime minister and deputy prime minister respectively have gotten Azmin even more big-headed.

However, the problem with Hishammuddin-Azmin tag team is that both individuals do not have the full support from their own parties. If UMNO cannot even fully support one of their own kind (Hishammuddin), how could the party accept an outsider like Azmin, who is not only a traitor but also a Muslim caught in gay sex, as the deputy prime minister?

Now, it is proven that indeed both Hishammuddin and Azmin lack full support from their own parties. How could Muhyiddin promote Sabri to a position more senior than Hishammuddin if the plan was to make Hishammuddin the next premier? Likewise, how could Muhyiddin promote Sabri as the deputy prime minister when that position belongs to Azmin?

Azmin Ali - Sad and Worry

How could Muhyiddin betray Azmin, his most trusted lieutenant who had sacrificed 20 years of “Reformasi” with PKR after his betrayal that helped to crown Muhyiddin as the prime minister? Heck, Azmin has even officially joined Muhyiddin’s party Bersatu (PPBM) in August 2020 along with nine former PKR MPs who had betrayed the Parti Keadilan Rakyat (People’s Justice Party).

It seems there are more to the latest political manoeuvre than meets the eye. It actually involved the Civil War between Muhyiddin’s two top lieutenants – Senior Minister Azmin Ali and Home Minister Hamzah Zainudin. Now, the bad blood between both power-hungry men has been spilled publicly due to jealousy or envy over the unfair distribution of portfolio, positions and power.

Yes, there could only be one tiger on the mountain. And clearly the Hamzah camp has managed to influence Muhyiddin to promote the clueless joker Ismail Sabri, locking the deputy prime minister from Azmin’s reaches. At the same time, the tactical move breaks the Hishammuddin-Azmin tag-team, as well as buying the loyalty of both Sabri and Hishammuddin.

It’s easier for Hamzah to control “turtle egg” Sabri and corrupt Hishammuddin than the cunning Azmin. The problem with musical chairs, also known as “Trip to Jerusalem”, is that the game involves elimination. If Azmin is eliminated, he has to find shelters elsewhere, and in the process leaves with his nine loyalists. This will create new problems to Muhyiddin, whose legitimacy is being challenged.

Mr Mahiaddin may have talked and convinced Azmin that there’s no other choice but to temporarily promote the UMNO warlords. However, the promotions of Sabri and Hishammuddin also mean that Azmin could not pull any more rabbit out of the hat to help the premier. But can Azmin trust his boss? Crucially, can Muhyiddin trust Azmin not to backstab him as the ship sinks?

Like it or not, gay Azmin is screwed royally. He has more powerful enemies now with nowhere to go. It will get worse for the PKR traitor if this is part of Muhyiddin’s endgame to eventually merge Bersatu with UMNO, as envisioned by Mahathir too. Muhyiddin may look like a genius, but in reality, he is scraping the bottom of the barrel to stay in power. And he could pull the little tricks as long as Zahid is too chicken to make any move. - FT

Din's last act of desperation....

If UMNO  pulls out its support,Maeil's tenure as DPM
will be shortest in history...

Ismail Sabri is DPM - but Ismail does not have as much support in UMNO as Hishamuddin Hussein aka H2O. Although that situation can change. What is more interesting is that Ismail Sabri is no more in charge of the 'Kluster Keselamatan' (Covid 19)?

Instead H2O has been promoted to Senior Minister (Foreign Affairs) now in charge of Kluster Keselamatan, taking the job away from Ismail Sabri. What is even more significant is that H2O will also assist the PM (I think it is a takeover) in the Pelaksanaan Pelan Pemulihan Negara.

Ismail Sabri the new DPM is not in charge of either the Kluster Keselamatan nor the Pelan Pemulihan Negara. You can see clearly that although Ismail Sabri 'sudah naik pangkat' but it is H2O who now shoulders the lion's share of the responsibilities in running the government.

But the language is interesting :

1.  YAB PM telah melantik Ismail Sabri sebagai TPM

2. H2O telah dilantik sebagai Menteri Kanan

but

3.  YAB PM bersetuju supaya H2O membantu beliau dalam Pelan Pemulihan

Azmin mesti frust menonggeng habis
bila dapat berita Pak Maeil jadi TPM...

Bersetuju? Bersetuju dengan siapa? Obviously the first two appointments are 'dilantik oleh YAB PM' but handing over the Pelan Pemulihan Negara is a "bersetuju" situation. Well,  it appears that there is some urgency considering the PM's health issues. Semoga kesihatan YAB Perdana Menteri akan sembuh dan pulih secepat mungkin.

I do see some inefficiencies and perhaps some trapdoors. Why not appoint H2O directly as the new DPM / Foreign Minister  with responsibility for Kluster Keselamatan as well as Pelan Pemulihan Negara?

Why make Ismail Sabri the DPM but remove him from being in charge of the Kluster Keselamatan and also not give him the responsibility for Pelan Pemulihan Negara? Will the people be impressed? Lets see what happens next. - Syed Akbar Ali

As for now Din has checkmate Zahid and Abang Non with this cunning move.By now all 38 UMNO MPs are with Bersatu except Zahid,Najib and none other the veteran Ku Li. Only time will tell... - ts

But...

Ismail’s appointment won’t
appease Umno, says analyst...

Ismail Sabri Yaakob’s appointment as deputy prime minister will not appease Umno for long, according to an analyst who still expects Umno to quit the government.

Oh Ei Sun of the Singapore Institute of International Affairs said those who have been elected to the senior Umno leadership and its grassroots were more in favour of pulling the plug on its support for Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin.

He added that Ismail and Hishammuddin Hussein’s appointment probably did not get the supreme council’s blessing. “This sentiment of leaving which is very much supported by Umno grassroots will still be brewing. It’s just a matter of time, it could be tonight or in the future,” he told FMT.

Oh said Umno would never feel “all right” as long as Muhyiddin Yassin and Bersatu were at the helm, adding that party president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi still held strong support in the party and among some MPs to cause a collapse of the government.

Sila keluaq ikut pintu belakang jamban ya?
Pak Maeil nak masuk...

Universiti Malaya’s Awang Azman Pawi said the question of whether Ismail and Hishammuddin’s appointments would stop Umno leaving the government depended on the supreme council, who are currently meeting virtually.

He said Ismail as deputy prime minister would affect Zahid’s position as party president as it seemed to be an attempt to stem his influence slowly and boost Ismail and Hishammuddin’s positions in the hierarchy.

“If Zahid doesn’t oppose this move he will become weaker and will be pressured into stepping down as president,” he said.

“There’s a possibility that Ismail’s appointment will be turned down because it was never discussed by the supreme council and at the Umno general assembly.” - fmt

cheers.

Biasalah Jebat, Menteri Pasola, what do U expect....

AstraZeneca vaccines given to Malaysia not recognise in Europe. It's wrong to penalise Malaysians who do not even know the origins of the AZ vaccine. Please don't allow politics to come into this when we're desperate to survive here...

PM Muhyiddin’s boys are
begging not to be booted...

As Prime Minister Muhyiddin continues his childish hide-and-seek game to cling to power, his boys are running around like a headless chicken – begging not to be booted. Having been hospitalized for diarrhoea since Wednesday (June 30), this Malaysian chief executive could break the Guinness World Records as the man who stays the longest in the hospital for bowel problems.

Interestingly, a statement released by the Prime Minister’s Office on Sunday (July 4) says the backdoor prime minister is in a stable condition for a gastrointestinal infection. It also claimed that a thorough health screening found no evidence that Mr Muhyiddin was experiencing a recurrence of pancreatic cancer, which he was diagnosed in 2018 (but was declared cancer-free in June 2020).

Regardless whether he was hiding about a return of pancreatic cancer, or was hiding behind diarrhoea to avoid meeting the Agong (King), his fragile Perikatan Nasional government could collapse anytime. From the white flag to black flag campaigns, the illegitimate premier who had betrayed his own (previous) Pakatan Harapan government is under tremendous pressure to resign.

Lajim Ukin, a Supreme Council member of Muhyiddin’s party Bersatu (PPBM) became the latest leader who begged everyone not to topple the current government, arguing that now is not the best time to change the regime due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. His silly argument included that there are only less than 2 years left before the next 15th General Election, which must be held in 2023.

The fear of losing power had also been expressed three days ago by Bersatu information chief Wan Saiful Wan Jan, who demanded a guarantee from Opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim that he will not use the Parliament to form a new government. Wan Saiful’s idiotic remark has basically let the cat out of the bag – Muhyiddin locks the Parliament to stay in power, not to fight Coronavirus.

The desperation – whining and begging – shown by both leaders of Mahiaddin (glamour name: Muhyiddin) party was both breathtaking and pathetic. Lajim Ukin should ask himself why the current clueless and incompetent government should be given another 2 years after 15 months of mishandling Covid pandemic and mismanaging economy that saw hunger and famine in the country.

Wan Saiful should stop making a fool of himself. It was the King Sultan Abdullah, who issued up to three warnings or decrees, demanding the useless government of Mahiaddin to reconvene the Parliament to “debate Emergency laws and the National Recovery Plan”. And if the prime minister fails a vote of confidence in the Parliament, anyone, including Anwar, can form a new government.

In truth, the loosely glued Perikatan Nasional would have collapsed earlier this year, if not for the political manoeuvre to declare a State of Emergency in January 12 to suspend the Parliament. It means Mahiaddin regime, whose legitimacy has been in question since day one, was officially over in less than 10 months since he was sworn in as the 8th Prime Minister on March 1, 2020.

Yes, Perikatan Nasional had only ruled from March 1, 2020 to January 12, 2021. In effect, Mr Mahiaddin alias Muhyiddin is the shortest serving prime minister. He had lost his simple majority on January 12 after the withdrawal of support from UMNO lawmakers, Ahmad Jazlan Yaakub and Nazri Aziz, reducing his support to merely 109 MPs in the 222-seat Parliament.
Muhyiddin Yassin - Prime Minister Legitimacy In Question

The withdrawal of support came after two-thirds – 143 out of 191 UMNO divisions – decided to cut ties with Bersatu, Muhyiddin’s party, in the next 15th General Election. And it was primarily because of this very reason that the King on February 24 issued his first decree to reopen the Parliament, to which the terrified and power-hungry illegitimate regime had refused and ignored.

The King himself had made the biggest mistake when he agreed – either ignorantly or deliberately – to appoint Muhyiddin as the new prime minister after the collapse of Pakatan Harapan due to betrayal and treachery. Muhyiddin never had the 112 MPs to form a simple-majority government from the beginning. And former PM Mahathir Mohamad had proven that.

To prove that Muhyiddin did not have the number as claimed, Mahathir had published a full list of names of all the 114 MPs who supported him on the night before Muhyiddin’s official swearing ceremony. In contrast, neither Muhyiddin nor the Palace has ever disclosed the details of the 114 MPs allegedly supporting the premier – either before or after the swearing-in.

Muhyiddin, cowardly, just kept quiet. This has led to the belief that the new prime minister was indeed bogus and had scammed all his way to the Palace. If Mahathir had 114 MPs, it meant Muhyiddin had only 108 MPs because the Parliament has maximum 222 MPs. Unlike third Prime Minister Hussein Onn, the backdoor PM Muhyiddin has never moved a motion of confidence to prove his legitimacy.

The undemocratic coup caught the attention of the Guardian, a British daily newspaper that went as far as calling the political move a “Royal Coup” – suggesting that the Malaysian Monarchy was somehow involved in returning the extremely corrupt UMNO political party, which until the May 2018 General Election, had ruled for 61 years since independence in 1957.

It would take the nine royal households until June 16, 2021 to finally throw the prime minister under the bus. Even then, it was largely because of increasing uprisings over hunger and hardship to make ends meet. The Malay Rulers did not want to go down with “Malay First” poster boy Mahiaddin because the hatred against the clueless and incompetent regime has spread to the Malay Monarchy.

Of course, UMNO gangster Nazri Aziz has made a shameless U-turn recently, pledging to support Muhyiddin administration again. He admitted that he was the “mastermind” behind the latest political manoeuvre to obtain statutory declarations (SDs) from Barisan Nasional MPs in support of Hishammuddin Hussein, another UMNO coward who ran away after the 2018 election defeat.

Nazri also claimed that there were 25 out of 41 Barisan MPs who signed the SD, leaving Zahid with only 16 MPs. But even with 16 MPs leaving the Perikatan Nasional coalition, Muhyiddin will collapse. Unless dark horse Mahathir suddenly swings his support for his lieutenant-turned-nemesis Muhyiddin, along with 9 MPs from Warisan Sabah, it’s game over for the prime minister.

However, for Mahathir to reveal his last card would also expose that he has been the puppet master behind the backdoor government all along, cunningly hedging his bets in both sides of the political divide. But with hungry and angry people against the regime, not to mention the Malay Sultans are distancing themselves from the toxic Mahiaddin, it would be foolish to rescue a sinking ship.

Opposition Pakatan Harapan coalition currently has 88 seats in the Parliament, comprising PKR (People’s Justice Party – 35 MPs), DAP (Democratic Action Party – 42 MPs) and Amanah (National Trust Party – 11 MPs). If UMNO president Zahid Hamidi could bring 16 MPs to the new alliance, they would have 104 MPs, short of 8 to form a simple-majority government.

But with the Malay Rulers being indifferent towards Mahiaddin alias Muhyiddin, now is the best opportunity for PKR president and Opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim to snatch back the power. At this stage, the King cannot and does not wish to be seen as bias and protective of Mahiaddin for obvious reason. Besides, there are only less than 2 years left before the next 15th General Election.

In the same breath, Warisan Chief Shafee Apdal may not agree with Mahathir to support the disgraced prime minister. Therefore, if Anwar could convince the former Sabah chief minister to join forces, the backdoor regime will definitely collapse before the coming Christmas. PM Muhyiddin can request for the Parliament to be dissolved, but it’s highly likely his request will be rejected by Agong due to Covid pandemic.

Make no mistake. UMNO MPs who are ready to jump ship actually share the same sentiments as the nine Sultans. They do not want to be tainted. They knew that the frustration and anger demonstrated by the voters on the ground are real, and not some opposition propaganda as alleged by clueless pro-government bloggers, propagandists and cyber troopers.

UMNO officials said more than two-thirds of the party’s 48-member policymaking Supreme Council has individually pledged their support to break away from the Perikatan Nasional coalition. Even if the power-hungry and corrupt UMNO MPs aligned with Mr Muhyiddin remain in government as independent elected representatives, the government will lose its already razor-thin majority in the Parliament.

Sure, Muhyiddin’s appointed backdoor Speaker Azhar Harun can reject any motion of no confidence in the Lower House to protect the prime minister. But there are many ways to skin a cat. The withdrawal of UMNO, even with just 16 MPs aligned to Zahid, from the coalition will force King Sultan Abdullah to pressure Mr. Mahiaddin to prove that he still has majority support to remain as premier.

In reality, the legitimacy of Mahiaddin can be tested either inside or outside the Parliament. The despicable Speaker Harun is the most powerful man in the Parliament. But he is powerless outside the August House. Armed with SDs, Anwar, or any other Members of Parliament for that matter, can seek an audience with the King to prove that he has the support to become the new prime minister. - FT

If God is testing mankind using Covid-19,
why bother getting vaccines?...

I am shocked and dismayed beyond belief that PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang could be that ignorant. Since PAS is a component in the present beleaguered Perikatan Nasional Government, he should, given his so-called Islamic credentials, advise the Government that nothing much can be done about containing COVID-19.

For Hadi, nothing can be done about the pandemic as it is God’s way of testing and challenging human beings. I wonder why Hadi is not willing to share his views about the pandemic with the Government. If he had done so, we need not procure vaccines any longer. What are vaccines compared to God’s will!

Since it is God’s punishment, then what is the point of clamouring for more vaccines to be brought into the country. By Hadi’s logic, vaccinations are not going to prevent people from becoming infected. It is all in the hands of the Almighty God.

Anyway, Hadi’s general knowledge about progress made in containing the pandemic is extremely shallow. Either he does not know or simply refuses to believe of the success achieved by some countries in containing the pandemic.

Holier-than-thou PAS

Countries like the US, UK and Italy might have had high recorded cases of infections earlier, but lately through the ready availability of vaccines, infections have come down. Of course, our Perikatan Government, despite its religious credentials and having an Islamic party as a member, has not been spared by God.

The question is, why God has not been kind to Perikatan? Why would God inflict such a punishment by way of introducing COVID-19 on Malaysia? Hadi should answer this question and not skirt it by simply rambling on irrelevant matters.

The notion of political pandemic introduced by Hadi is merely to justify and whitewash the treachery committed Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu), Umno and PAS. If God is punishing Malaysia, then the reason is obvious. He is in fact, punishing the Perikatan for seizing power illegally from Pakatan Harapan.

Hadi mistakenly thinks and acts as though the Opposition is facing the wrath of God. So, the pandemic, at least in Hadi’s warped logic, is God’s way of punishing Malaysians for continuing to tolerate the Perikatan’s antiques. – Prof P Ramasamy

Latest breach of SOP
at Jalan Bellamy bungalow...

Two nights ago, while we were confined at home because of the PKP (Movement Control Order), several politicians, ministers, deputies and GLC heads, had met in secret in a bungalow near Bellamy Road. The area is near the old Istana Negara.

Does this secret meeting have to do with the projected clash between Umno-Baru and PN next week? During the PKP, why did ministers and politicians freely break the law? A reporter was advised by a police outrider to leave the area. Why? This is not the first time Mahiaddin Yassin and his cabinet have violated the law.

Here are 10 reasons for Mahiaddin to resign. PN does not deserve to be the government.

1. This meeting violated the Coronavirus SOP. These confidential meetings included ministers, deputies, and MPs and at least the head of a GLC. They are believed to be Umno-Baru MPs who do not support their president, Zahid Hamidi.

This is the situation in Malaysia now. The people are suffering, some are suicidal, many are starving, they have no work, no money, no place to live, and children do not get a perfect education.

However, politicians from Umno-Baru, PAS and Bersatu are more worried about their futures. If they no longer have power, it means it is difficult for them to steal people’s money or be landed with government contracts worth millions of ringgit. So, why did the police allow this meeting to happen?

2. Parliamentary sessions are not allowed, factories have to be closed, congregations in temples, churches, and mosques are not allowed, visiting sick families is not allowed, but the secret meeting to determine the future of parliamentarians and ministers was allowed.

This is what makes the people angry. Mahiaddin and his ministers have been consistently breaking the SOP rules without suffering the consequences.

3. What was discussed by the MPs, ministers. deputy ministers and the head of the GLC? Why meet secretly, at night, in a bungalow on Jalan Bellamy? Who were the ministers and politicians present? What do they not want others and the people to know? What do they plan for the people? Will this affect national security?

4. I have some questions for the politicians....Who stole taxpayers’ money? Who stole the money from Tabung Haji? Who stole money from the mosques? Why does Zakat money not reach the poor and single mothers? Malay politicians and their families and cronies are stealing from the rakyat. As usual, other people were accused, but the thieves from Umno-Baru and PAS did not blame themselves. So, stop believing the hypocritical politicians from Umno-Baru, PAS, and Bersatu.

5. Many locations in KL and across the country are under lockdown. Why did the police allow this secret meeting of politicians? Why was the Malaysiakini journalist told to leave the area? The police do not uphold the laws of the country fairly. Are the police colluding with politicians? Is there a police cartel now acting like the mafia and taking care of their members only? The people should get rid of the PN government. The politicians make laws but refuse to abide by their own rules.

6. The irony is that the destruction of Umno-Baru is by PAS and Bersatu. Umno-Baru is destroyed not by DAP, the Chinese, the CIA, the Jews, the Singaporeans, George Soros or aliens. Umno-Baru will perish because Malay politicians are power crazy and greedy for money which does not belong to them. The sad bit is that the greedy Malays have destroyed Malaysia.

7. There is no need for a Bellamy move after the Sheraton move. What should be done is to return the government which was elected by the people. We are embarrassed by the stupidity of our politicians and the Malay government. Foreign investors will not want to invest in Malaysia.

8. Malay politicians should not be given power or money. When they see money, they get more greedy. They are not interested in a clean and fair government. They do not uphold honesty, honour, the constitution, and integrity.

9. Umno-Baru, Bersatu and PAS politicians do not care about the people. Their SOP is to live by addiction, betrayal, fraud, theft, and being divisive. Soon, Malaysia will be like Lebanon where elected governments have failed one after another because they all come from the same corrupt and power-mad political elite families. Malaysia will suffer from these elite political families who take turns to rule Malaysia and bankrupt the country.

Now, we know why the Baling MP, Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim and Padang Rengas politician, Nazri Aziz were given special permission to leave the country. Azeez went to Palestine, Nazri to Paris, to accompany his young wife. Their absence is related to power grabs, leadership and chaos in Umno-Baru.

10. If the politicians of Umno-Baru, Bersatu and PAS are busy colluding with each other, and making plans to rule us, why do we need the democratic voting process? Is this what you want for the future of this country? Most ordinary Malays are tricked by the Melayuputras to pursue their selfish agenda. Please wake up from your sleep. Please take note of your surroundings.

The enemy is from within. He is not the Chinese, the DAP, Christians, Singaporeans or Jews. Our enemies consist of National Traitors (PN). They are comprised of corrupt and power-hungry Melayuputeras. When they quarrel to seize power, it is the rakyat which suffers. – Mariam Mokhtar,Rebuilding Malaysia

Here is a recent example  of  a  Civil Servant who was promoted THREE TIMES in under TWO YEARS  and who has now become the Top Civil Servant in her Ministry. This is the fantastic story of Datin Nor Zamani binti Abdol Hamid who has recently been promoted to become the Ketua Pengarah Pendidikan of the Ministry of Education or MOE.

- The talk is that in May 2020 she was promoted to Pengarah Bahagian Kurikulum.
- Then after that in another 6 months (Nov 2020) she was promoted again to Timbalan Ketua           Pengarah Pelajaran Malaysia.
- Then recently this year 2021 she has been promoted to Ketua Pengarah Pelajaran Malaysia.

There must also be a promotion in her salary scale, possibly Jusa C to Jusa B to Jusa A or something like that (maaf kalau tersilap eja).

I also forgot to mention that Datin Nor Zamani is the wife of the Minister of Health. So congratulations to the Minister of Health for his wife's TRIPLE PROMOTION in just two years.

Datin Zamani must be a really super talented person. Which is the only reason why the Government recognised her super talents and has promoted her to the top position in her Ministry. We must appreciate our talented manpower resources. Tahniah besar. - Syed Akbar Ali

Khas utk PIKAS. Kesian kena prank Malaysian Time, vaksin hanya tiba jam 10pm same day, kena tunggu next week for vaccination day.Bukan Azmin cakap kos only Rm45 per person, pasai sampai Rm300?

cheers.

Bendera putih putus bekalan, bendera hijau putus wayar....

Itulah trademark mereka. - Syed Akbar Ali

When white flags fly...

Do you know whose idea was it that gave birth to the Bendera Putih initiative? I don't. And that is sad. But whoever the brains are behind the initiative, I salute you. It is a noble idea for an equally noble cause.

We know already #benderaputih is trending, meaning the Bendera Putih or white flag initiative has gained traction, already getting mass support from individuals, groups, businesses and politicians, particularly from the opposition, and still getting support.

Malaysians are suffering and the Bendera Putih movement is a call for Malaysians in need of food or essentials to carry out a simple act, that is to raise a white flag outside their homes as a sign to indicate they need help so that neighbors and others can give the necessary aid.

We know by now the message is straightforward: "To those who are struggling and have no food, raise the white flag at you home. Let the people around you help as much as they can. Please do not take actions that will break the hearts of your loved ones. No need to plead. No need to beg. No need to feel embarrassed. Just fly the flag."

The initiative surfaced amid reports of Malaysians being pushed to the brim or to breaking points by the indefinite closure of the economy because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Many are driven to suicide.

Up went the white flags, and with it came the help as Malaysians regardless of race and religion responded overwhelmingly. The Bendera Putih movement is all about Malaysians getting Malaysians to help Malaysians. Therefore, no one should view it suspiciously, or feel uneasy, what more feel threatened, not even the government.

Come to think of it, federal minister Datuk Zuraida Kamaruddin took to her social media platform to proclaim that she is "with the Bendera Putih movement to identify the needy". And she echoed the movement message of "no need to plead. No need to be embarrassed. Just fly the flag".

I was told she had located some needy folks thanks to the white flags, and provided aid. Activists, including the well-known Fahmi Reza, are accusing the minister of "hijacking" the initiative created by the rakyat. Agree or not, that's their take on the matter which must be respected.

As it stands, Zuraida at least on record "is with" the initiative, rendering support. Which makes Nik Abduh Nik Aziz's take on the Bendera Putih movement baffling. All the more baffling as Nik Abduh is a leader of PAS, a party which is in a government which Zuraida is part of.

The PAS politician who fashioned himself as an ulama or Islamic scholar is perceived to have looked down or mocked the Bendera Putih movement. He urged people to pray to God to help overcome their hardships and challenges instead of raising a while flag.

"Raise your hands in prayer to Him. That is the flag of strength and optimism. Don't admit defeat when tested." Obviously, to him the white flag is a sign of surrender. True as in other instances. In war for example. But not this time. People are fighting a different kind of war!

To activist Iswardy Morni, the white flag is a symbol of the rakyat not "surrendering" in the usual sense but more of given up hope of getting help during these trying times, thus the need to take care among themselves.

Nik Abduh, on his part, wants people to ask God for help and not raise the white flag. And he was lambasted for that by Malaysians, including Muslims who told him Allah wants people to work hard and try to help themselves instead of merely praying for help.

Some reminded Nik Abduh on the "tin Milo" (empty Milo cans) used to collect money from people at PAS ceramahs, asking him "why didn't PAS just pray for money to drop from the sky?" There are a lot more said by the average Malaysians. And Nik Abduh continues to be slammed.

Nik Abduh is a member of PAS central committee. I wonder if the PAS leadership shares his views on the Bendera Putih movement. As said earlier, Bendera Putih is a people's initiative. An attack on it is seen as an attack on the people. Belittle it is to belittle the people. That is what Nik Abduh has done!

No politician worth his salt would want to incur the wrath of the people. Which is what Nik Abduh has effortlessly "earned". Thus far PAS leaders are keeping mum. It looks like the party or its top leaders seem to be distancing from Nik Abduh on the issue. Is he being isolated? Is he alone on the white flag matter? I do not know. But I do know that PAS leaders as well as the party itself have been implicated because of what Nik Abduh has said.

Take a look at what political analyst Azmi Hassan has to say. He was quoted by FMT as saying PAS leaders "should have the common decency" to say the right things about a campaign meant to help people in distress. Azmi and fellow analyst Awang Azman Pawi questioned the quality of leadership in PAS, particularly in its role as a member of Perikatan Nasional administration.

According to Azmi, it looks like PAS does not even have the "basic knowledge" to run the country. He went on to say that many people were skeptical of PAS' abilities when it became part of the government and the skeptics "had been proven right". As he sees it, PAS leaders "have been making too many blunders".

All what Azmi has said, I would say will haunt PAS and for that Perikatan Nasional itself for a very long time as the pandemic continues to rage on. Meanwhile, the white flags are still being raised. - Mohsin Abdullah

Meanwhile, the Kedah Menteri Besar today said a news report claiming that he would neither recognise nor help those who raised the white flag was a “spin” by a news outlet.Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor said he had merely urged those in trouble to call special emergency hotlines set up in all districts in Kedah instead of putting up white flags.

He also described the white flag movement, a campaign that was launched on social media earlier this week, as a form of political propaganda that was aimed at tarnishing the good work of the federal government. He claimed that these white flags could have been planted by opposition parties for other reasons. - fmt

What a difference a year makes...

cheers.
