A leadership crisis could explode in Perak ....
Due To Bersatu’s Corruption, Racism, Arrogance and Hypocrisy...

After Azmin Ali’s gay sex video, which Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad tried to cover-up using some ridiculous and laughable excuses, another video clip has emerged that would need the intervention of the 94-year-old premier again. Unlike Azmin’s sex scandal, however, the new video clip involving Mahathir’s own party could trigger a serious leadership crisis in the state of Perak.

A video clip of Perak Menteri Besar (Chief Minister) Ahmad Faizal Azumu bitching to a group of people how he is fighting a “lone battle” against DAP has gone viral. He was caught saying – “I am fighting alone with the DAP clans. I want to defend the Malay land and to fight for our religion. Thankfully, some friends in UMNO don’t scold me. They are good with me.”

The 2-minute-47-second video clip has indeed raised eyebrows considering DAP is one of four major components making up Pakatan Harapan, the coalition that had stunningly defeated the old government of Barisan Nasional, a coalition controlled and dominated by the corrupt and racist UMNO party for the last 61 years since independence in 1957.

The video is believed to have been recorded during the Tanjung Piai by-election campaign as Pakatan Harapan’s candidate Karmaine Sardini is also seen in the footage. And since both Ahmad Faizal and Karmaine Sardini are members of Mahathir’s party – PPBM (Bersatu) – the video naturally creates a bigger mistrust, doubt and suspicion about the hidden agenda of the party.

It screams treacherous that as the chief minister of Perak, Faizal didn’t think twice about condemning ally DAP but rained praises on opposition UMNO, as if his own party had joined the wrong coalition. Clearly, his heart is still with the corrupt UMNO, never mind its former president Najib Razak faces 42 charges of criminal breach of trust (CBT), money laundering and abuse of power.

The best part was when Ahmad Faizal said to the crowd, presumably his trusted circle, that he had UMNO “blood” and would not mind helping “his people”. That statement alone suggests that behind the scenes, the chief executive of Perak could have helped – even conspired – to ensure projects and contracts were given to UMNO people in the state.
Perak Illegal Sand Mining
Perak Illegal Sand Mining

When confronted about the video, the despicable Perak leader claimed it was a misrepresentation and denied the existence of a rift with DAP. Amusingly, he insisted that his remarks were taken out of context, precisely what any UMNO leaders would say whenever they screw up. Karmaine Sardini, meanwhile, said he could not remember anything about the controversial words.

The incompetent chief minister from Mahathir’s party can easily be promoted to the same league as “Black Shoe” Education Minister Maszlee Malik. His idea for a brand new airport in the Manjung area to be built despite the fact that the state is so poor it has to make do with patched-up road (mocked as the beggars’ roads) has been ridiculed, mocked and laughed at.

Thanks to Ahmad Faizal, the illegal sand mining in the state is still business as usual, despite a change in the government. The selling of sand allegedly involving one of the cronies of Zambry Abdul Kadir, formerly Perak Menteri Besar under the corrupt UMNO regime, is believed to be still ongoing. Zambry’s boys were infamous for accepting bribes and sexual favours from sand miners.

Heck, the Perak administration was so screwed up that the people were shocked when told that the Mayor of Ipoh, Azmri Man, had gone AWOL for months without anyone noticing. When asked about the missing mayor, the clueless Chief Minister Ahmad Faizal could not offer any explanation, but said that a new mayor had been appointed and would start work soon.

Under Ahmad Faizal’s leadership, the maintenance contract for the city of Ipoh (capital of Perak) was awarded to a company from Johor known as Bujang Holdings Sdn Bhd that, surprisingly, has no manpower at all. He was also accused of quietly and directly awarding concession for the maintenance of state roads to a company that had already been given another contract under a different name.

Yes, when the same concession was awarded again to a company, Bujang Selenggara, after the contract ended, it triggered controversy because it was done without going through a valid tender process. So to get around it, the genius chief minister once again awarded the concession through direct negotiations to the same company, after it was renamed as Puncak Emas Infra.

Perak State - Poorly Maintained Road

So thanks to the abuses of power of the Perak Menteri Besar’s office, Puncak Emas Infra (formerly Bujang Selenggara) has been given full power to appoint contractors and set prices as it wished. At best, Ahmad Faizal is one heck of an incompetent leader. At worst, he happily received kickbacks from the company to milk taxpayers’ money in the concession.

In February, he admitted that 400ha of forest land was awarded to a company with a paid-up capital of only RM2 without going through an open tender. He argued that the directors of the company have vast experience in forest plantation, and the company is working closely with the Malaysian Timber Industry Board for forest land development. Hence, there was no need to open tender.

Ahmad Faizal’s video clip immediately exposed hypocrisy within Mahathir’s party. The party’s Youth Chief Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman, who had demanded an apology from DAP central committee member Ronnie Liu for criticising his boss Mahathir Mohamad, makes a spectacular flip-flop and sings a different tune when asked if his colleague Faizal should now apologise to DAP.

Yes, the disgraced Syed Saddiq, the same punk who had initially condemned hate preacher Zakir Naik for playing racial politics against minorities Chinese and Indians only to invite the radical extremist for a delicious dinner at his home 10 days later, has officially become the youngest and biggest hypocrite in the party for not slamming the “rude and disrespectful” Ahmad Faizal.

Instead of rubbing shoulders and helping cronies of supposedly enemy UMNO, Ahmad Faizal should be grateful that DAP supports his appointment as the chief of the state of Perak. His party Bersatu (PPBM) has only 2 seats in the 59-seat state assembly while ally DAP holds 18 seats, the biggest number in the coalition. Other allies PKR possess 6 and Amanah 4.
Image result for Perak Menteri Besar Chief Minister Ahmad Faizal Azumu - Bersatu PPBM
Perak MB Ahmad Faizal Azumu

In essence, the fragile Pakatan Harapan coalition has only a 2-seat majority in Perak. If two of its 30 assembly representatives were to defect, the state government would collapse. The arrogant Bersatu should realise that out of 14 seats it had contested in the May 2018 General Election; it only won 1 seat (Ahmad Faizal). Even then, he won it with a majority of only 39 votes.

Even if Chinese-majority party DAP cannot appoint any of its assemblymen to become a Menteri Besar for obvious reason, despite them having a Malay representative, PKR or Amanah is more qualified than Bersatu in leading the state. Yet, amazingly, Mahathir was allowed to appoint his sole representative as the chief minister, out of respect for him.

Unfortunately, Ahmad Faizal might have been emboldened by the 2-seat majority in Perak to commit the hanky-panky business, including badmouthing the DAP. He bets neither DAP nor PKR or Amanah would rock the boat. Likewise, he is also betting that the MACC (Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission) would not dare investigate him, as it would lead to the potential collapse of the Perak government.

True, Bersatu and UMNO were cut from the same cloth. Ahmad Faizal has been just another product churned out from the same UMNO assembly line, hence his close relationship and association with the party regardless of its massive corruption. To be fair, it’s the business of monkey see monkey do. He was merely taking the cue from the top leadership – Mahathir Mohamad.

Pejai, lain kali kalau nak lawan DAP, jangan sorang-sorang, ajak kami sama.
Kan dah masuk wad?Semoga sembuh buasir tu ye...

PM Mahathir’s approach to racial and religious extremism in winning Malay vote bank appears to have proven more damaging than anticipated. The prime minister’s willingness to accept UMNO defectors into his own party is seen as an endorsement that no frogs are too dirty or corrupt to be welcome. The speculation of a new “Malay-only” government has also created confusions.

More importantly, Mahathir’s refusal to state a tentative date to hand over the premiership to prime minister-in-waiting and PKR president Anwar Ibrahim has created a perception that the power-hungry 94-year-old prime minister is more willing to betray the Pakatan coalition and jump ship to form a new government with opposition UMNO and PAS, than to honour his promise.

Yes, Ahmad Faizal, despite his incompetency and arrogance, could have been inspired and influenced by Mahathir leadership to fight ally DAP. Mahathir’s secret and private meeting with UMNO warlords like Hishammuddin Hussein and PAS President Hadi Awang could have been mistaken by the Perak chief minister as signals that Bersatu is about to sleep with UMNO and PAS.

Still, Ahmad Faizal is definitely not fit to run the state. If he remains as the Perak’s chief minister, the state will surely fall to the opposition in the next general election. But what choice does Mahathir have, even if he disagrees with the moron? Like half-past-six Education Minister Maszlee, the Chenderiang assemblyman is the smartest available man Bersatu has in Perak. - FT

Biarlah aku bercakap jujur
tentang Tanjung Piai...

Sebenarnya sejak awal aku tak berapa kisah tentang keputusannya nanti..

Fatwa Tok Lebai bertukaq ikut pilihanraya....

DAP sejak dulu menolak Hudud, Bukan sebab depa benci Hudud..

Image may contain: 1 person

Apa khabar Tanjong Piai...

- mso

Bersatu v MCA: DAP grassroots between
a rock and hard place in Tg.Piai...

DAP grassroots are torn between their unwillingness to campaign for Pakatan Harapan’s candidate Karmaine Sardini from Bersatu and wanting to see Wee Jeck Seng from rival party MCA defeated in the coming Johor by-election.

Malaysiakini has learnt from DAP insiders and elected representatives that this is a result of a series of events involving the party, including the prosecution of its lawmakers in the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) case.

Also of concern is the brouhaha over the controversial comic by former party member Hew Kuan Yau and possible disciplinary action against party central executive committee member Ronnie Liu.

These events have significantly strained ties between DAP and fellow Harapan component party Bersatu.

Karmaine Sardini - PH

This could prove to be a major setback for the ruling coalition as DAP plays an important role in assisting its Bersatu counterpart retain the seat.

Not only because the parliamentary seat comprises 42 percent Chinese voters, but also because the party won Pekan Nenas, one of two state seats under Tanjung Piai.

In GE14, Harapan’s incumbent, the late Md Farid Md Rafik secured an overwhelming majority of 80 percent support of the Chinese in the constituency. However, the past year has also seen Chinese support for the ruling coalition eroded.

This is also worrying as Farid won the seat last year with a sliver of just over 500 votes to two-time former MP Wee.

Wee is hoping to reclaim the seat as BN’s candidate once more in the Nov 16 polls, against Bersatu Tg Piai chief Karmaine.

Less ceramahs

On the eve of nomination day for the Tanjung Piai polls last week, DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng openly highlighted the concerns of DAP leaders against recent events.

This, he said, was perceived by many in the party as attempts by authorities, or “deep state” to target DAP for links to a defunct terrorist group, and for allegedly spreading communist propaganda.

Dissatisfaction within the party also reportedly compelled its leadership to urge all its lawmakers to put a united front for the sake of the coalition, at least until the end of the by-election.

And indeed the party bigwigs have been playing their part. Lim, his father and DAP supremo Kit Siang as well as deputy minister and Johor DAP chief Liew Chin Tong’s appearances on Nov 2, lent credence to the image of a united front.

Yet, the past six days of campaigning has seen less ceramahs being organised by DAP as expected.

This is especially as ceramahs are seen as the most common and effective election strategy adopted by DAP in past polls.

Only DAP Pekan Nenas state assemblyperson Yeo Tung Siong and several grassroots members were seen accompanying Karmaine in his campaign trail over the past few days.

It was only on Wednesday night that Kit Siang himself spoke for the first time in a ceramah at Penerok, a BN stronghold that also comprises a small group of staunch DAP members. Hundreds turned up for the ceramah.

Following this, DAP minister Yeo Bee Yin, deputy minister Teo Nie Ching, Jelutong MP RSN Rayer and Bukit Gelugor MP Ramkarpal Singh are scheduled to campaign for Karmaine and speak at ceramahs.

Grassroot frustrations

But aside from party leadership, the DAP campaign team is finding it harder to persuade grassroots members to campaign for the Harapan candidate.

Party insiders told Malaysiakini grassroots from other divisions were unwilling to campaign for Karmaine because they were unhappy over the LTTE and comic issues.

Yet some sources have said some decided to come out to campaign for Harapan after taking into consideration the overall interest of the coalition.

A Kukup DAP branch member said some were unwilling to see voters swing back to BN after they voted for a change in government last year.

"Yes, we are not happy (with Bersatu). But Harapan is a family. Are we going to break apart because siblings quarrelled?" said the source.

The party insider also felt that even if BN wins in the Nov 16 polls, its candidate Wee would no longer have access to many resources or provide as much handouts to constituents as when he was MP during BN’s administration.

"What we want is a backbencher who can keep the government in check. Can you look at how much he (Wee) spoke at Parliament (before?), what he uttered was only 'yes, correct'," the party member added.

Tung Seong  has admitted that DAP members were discontent, not just with Bersatu but also other allies.

"(They are questioning) Why no other parties voice out support for us, only PKR president Anwar Ibrahim," he said.

Acknowledging the importance of the by-election, Tung Seong believed party leadership are able to persuade members to join the campaign machinery.

This is as he pointed out a defeat for Harapan in Tanjung Piai will only strengthen the “deep state” concern highlighted by Lim, as hands working against the coalition will only think of Harapan as a one-term government.

"Many of the grassroots leaders listened and understood this is an important battle and decided to join the campaign machinery," he said.

Currently, about 30 party campaigners go to the ground with the assistance of central leaders and state leaders to speak to the grassroots.

Public support

Meanwhile, DAP Skudai assemblyperson Tan Hong Pin also admitted that recent issues have affected sentiments of the grassroots.

Yet, he downplayed its seriousness and claimed the grassroots are able to rise above it.

"Definitely, it is frustrating...But we all know the meaning of the polls, (and) they are willing to set aside (their discontent) until the battle is over. Then, we will talk about other issues," he said.

He advised party members to adhere to party discipline guidelines and train their guns at the “other side” instead of resorting to sabotage.

Tan said the DAP campaign machinery did not just rely on party members but contributions of funds and resources from the public.

"This is the first time ever Johor DAP took part (in an election) as a government party, so we need to adjust our campaign operations. I still believe the participation of the public is very important, as without them, (it would appear) as though we are losing the support of the public," he added.
Image result for calon berjasa Tanjung Piai...
Dr.Badrulhisham b Abdul Aziz - Berjasa

Even so, public participation in the campaign was still low, but better than expected, he claimed.

Besides the need to stem the loss of Chinese support, Tan said Harapan needed to attract the support of young Malay voters in order to retain the seat.

The Tanjung Piai by-election was called following the death of Farid, 42, on Sept 21 from heart complications.

Aside from Karmaine and Wee, four other candidates have thrown their hats into the ring.

The six-cornered battle also features Gerakan deputy secretary-general Wendy Subramaniam, Berjasa president Badhrulhisham Abdul Aziz and independents Ang Chuan Lock and Faridah Aryani Abdul Ghaffar. - mk

Zahid Komidi guna politik kebencian, perkauman di Tg.Piai....
Image may contain: 6 people, people smiling, text

Majistret membuat penghakim berdasarkan undang-undang, tanpa mengira warna kulit seseorang.

Sex Video Scandal - Azmin Ali and Muhammad Haziq Abdul Aziz - Worry Face
Azmin Sued Over Unpaid Family Holidays...

Economic Affairs Minister Mohamed Azmin Ali said today that he will settle debt owed to a travel agency, if there are outstanding bills. His statement was an admission that he and his families had indeed travelled with “YHA Travel & Tours” but refused to pay, otherwise he would publicly deny – even condemn or threaten to sue – the travel agency for tarnishing his reputation.

On Nov 5, Sarawak Report, the same whistleblower who exposed former Prime Minister Najib Razak’s involvement in the multi-billion-dollar 1MDB scandal, published a court lawsuit stating that Azmin had refused to pay the bills for his family holidays. The unpaid travel bills, amounting to RM328,901, were for trips made between Sept 10, 2018 and Aug 5 this year – included the notorious Sandakan trip.

In the writ of summons, YHA Travel & Tours said – “Despite repeated demand of payments by the plaintiff and/or its representative from the defendant and/or his representative, the aggregate amount has not been forthcoming even though the claimed sum was never disputed.” The outstanding bills were accumulated over a series of business/first class flights across the world.

Mr. Azmin said – “If I’m in debt, I will pay; it’s my responsibility. I have not seen the summons writ. I have asked my officers to look into the matter.” That statement alone raises two red flags. First, the minister appears to be trying to twist and spin his refusal to pay by creating a perception that he wasn’t aware and probably had forgotten about the travelling bills.

However, in normal circumstances, a creditor like YHA Travel & Tours would exhaust all avenues before resorting to lawsuit to recover their debts. So, it’s safe to presume that the travel agency had indeed communicated numerous times with the Economic Affairs Minister using different communication methods but failed, as stated in the writ of summons.

Second, why did Azmin Ali say he has to ask his officers to verify the claims? Those outstanding bills were accrued for his family members’ holidaying in Morocco. Hence, they were personal – “not official” – expenses. To utilise government officers to manage and solve his personal financial matters is obviously tantamount to an abuse of power, resources and even taxpayers’ money.
Azmin Ali and Hishammuddin Hussein Families - Holiday in Morocco
Azmin and Hishammuddin Families -Holiday in Morocco

Coincidentally, Ameer Azmin, eldest son of Azmin, posted a photo of the families of Azmin and Hishammuddin Hussein holidaying in Morocco last year. After the photo – with the caption “reunited after so long” – went viral in the social media, it was taken down. UMNO warlord Hishammuddin was the suspect traitor who would leave the party with 30 MPs to join PM Mahathir’s party (PPBM or Bersatu).

Hishammuddin, who is the cousin of disgraced ex-PM Najib now facing 42 charges of abuse of power, criminal breach of trust (CBT) and money laundering over 1MDB scandal, has since been exposed to be working with Azmin (a faction of PKR party) together with opposition PAS Islamist Party to create a new coalition government to be headed by Mahathir.

Not only was the outstanding bill of RM328,901 was spent on Azmin Ali’s six “adult” children and spouses on holiday, a staggering RM92,280.00 of the total bill was charged for flights enjoyed by the minister’s newlywed son Mohamed Ameer Shazrin Mohamed Azmin and his spouse Mazreen Shanim Shaheen during their travel to Marrakech, London and Geneva.

Interestingly, the unpaid travelling bills included the minister’s scandalous visit to Sandakan in May 2019 which matched the date where Muhammad Haziq Abdul Aziz had admitted to having “gay sex” with Azmin Ali. The explosive sex drama in the Four Points Sheraton Hotel room in Sandakan, Sabah on May 11, 2019 was consensual – according to Mr. Haziq.

Clearly, Azmin Ali had mixed business with pleasure during those trips. But the burning question is why the “responsible” minister didn’t settle his and his family’s travel bills? The amount of RM328,901 might look a lot to millions of ordinary Malaysians. However, any corrupt ministers of the previous Barisan Nasional government will laugh at such pathetic small sum of money.
Sex Video Scandal - Azmin Ali and Muhammad Haziq Abdul Aziz - Photo
Sex Video Scandal

The travel agency claims that it had a long-standing history of business relationship which spans approximately 20 years with the minister. In the past, Azmin, PKR deputy president, would normally settle his bills within three to four months. Sarawak Report revealed that the minister’s travelling bills have been in the region of one million Ringgit annually.

This time, however, Azmin has failed or refused to pay for his family trips to Marrakech, London, Jakarta, Gold Coast, Dubai, Geneva, Singapore, Bangkok, Barcelona, and Santorini. The YHA Travel & Tours claimed it had sent a first letter of demand to Azmin on Aug 27 and another on Sept 30, but received no response.

If Azmin had paid RM1 million in the past, he certainly can pay RM328,901 but deliberately refused to. On Nov 5, a Facebook belonging to Azmin’s PKR supporters “Pejabat Timbalan Setia” accused the travel company suing Economic Affairs Minister Azmin belonged to the father of one of those arrested over the Sandakan sex video clips which went viral early this year.

The Facebook page also uploaded a photograph of the alleged owner of YHA Travel & Tours with PKR president and prime minister-in-waiting Anwar Ibrahim – suggesting that somehow Azmin has been victimised in the lawsuit. Still, it’s a lame excuse because the fact remains that as a minister, Mr. Azmin must set a role model and pays his outstanding debts promptly.

Hence, there could only be one reason. The bisexual minister Azmin most likely thought as the powerful Economic Affairs Minister, a portfolio specially created by Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad for him, he could do what the corrupt ministers of the previous government did – abuse his position to the extent of refusing to pay for his family holidays.

Yes, the despicable Azmin probably believed that YHA Travel & Tours would not dare collect outstanding debts from him. More importantly, if the evil plan to form a new coalition government with PAS, UMNO, Bersatu and PKR (Azmin’s faction) succeeded, he could be promoted as the country’s new deputy prime minister, if not the prime minister.
Azmin Ali and Maira Nazarbayeva - Refused To Pay - Family Travel and Hermes Handbags
Azmin Ali and Maira Nazarbayeva

By then, there would be dozens of crony wannabes queuing for projects and contracts from Azmin. In exchange, his RM300,000 outstanding bills would be settled automatically. Perhaps PM Mahathir should lecture his blue-eyed boy about the real meaning of “Malay dignity“. After all, it was the 94-year-old premier who slammed the Malays’ attitude of being untrustworthy and lazy.

Mahathir has often complained that he always chooses the wrong leader. At a campaigning rally in Kuala Lumpur on May 1, he apologised to the crowd – “The biggest mistake that I have made in my life is choosing Najib.” The words may sound familiar as he had expressed similar regrets about his immediate successor Abdullah Badawi, in the years after he stepped down.

After Badawi and Najib, it would be another huge mistake if Mahathir has plans to groom Azmin as his successor. Not only was Azmin Ali indulged in gay sex, the ambitious minister has started demonstrating untrustworthiness as a senior leader. It’s not an exaggeration to even suggest that he could be a bigger corrupt leader than Najib Razak.

In fact, his refusal to pay outstanding bills is comparable to Najib Razak’s disgraced in-law. Maira Nazarbayeva, the Kazakh woman whose son is married to the daughter of ex-PM Najib Razak, was exposed back in 2015 as the cheapskate thief who ordered a dozen of Hermes bags worth US$401,912.50 (£308,988; RM1.67 million) from Samilor Enterprises – but refused to pay.

In her attempt to recover the money owed, Samilor President Bella Belkin warned Maira Nazarbayev of legal action. Amazingly, not only Maira didn’t bother to pay or intimidated by the lawsuit threat, she reportedly threatened the business owner – “You know who my son is! He is son-in-law of the Prime Minister of Malaysia! I will hurt you and your family if you sue me!”

While Azmin did not throw Mahathir’s name to threaten the travel agency, both Azmin and Maira had refused to pay for their goods and services. It’s only now that Azmin promises to pay, after being sued by YHA Travel & Tours. Without the lawsuit and his shameful acts exposed by Sarawak Report, it would be hard to imagine how the company could recover its money. - FT

Jho Low roams free, while Najib delays trial....

The wheels of justice grind slowly, but the long suffering Malaysian who expects swift justice in the 1MDB saga, has been dealt two more blows.

Disgraced Najib Abdul Razak, and his friend, Low Taek Jho a.k.a. Jho Low, are synonymous with 1MDB. Our patience wears thin with Najib's attempts to delay his trial, whilst Jho Low appears to be more slippery than an eel, and has evaded every attempt to arrest him, and face trial in Malaysia.

On 31 October, Najib's trial was adjourned, because he was allegedly suffering from another eye infection, suspected to be an allergy. At around the same time, we read reports, that Jho Low, was alleged to be residing in the United Arab Emirates and been granted asylum in Cyprus. Some reports alleged that his asylum was because of suspected human rights violations and political persecution.

1MDB, the world's greatest financial scandal almost bankrupted Malaysia, closed the 140-year-old Swiss bank BSI, discredited many established financial institutions, threatened the ringgit, toppled Najib's government and its repercussion were felt in at least seven countries.

So, how much longer, will Malaysians have to wait before justice is served? The long delays wear the rakyat down and before long they will lose faith in both the government and the judiciary. The Nuremberg trials were completed in 11 months. Will Najib's 1MDB trial take longer?

Najib was given one day's sick leave, however, he was fit enough to appear in Johor the following day and on Saturday, supported the BN candidate, at the Tanjung Piai by-election nomination.

A responsible person would have stayed at home to recover, lest he spread his eye infection, rubbing his eyes and shaking hands with well wishers. More importantly, appearing in public after claiming illness, suggests that he is mocking the court.

Najib's trial has suffered many delays, and dragged on for too long. Perpetrators of other financial wrongdoings, like the Tabung Haji or the Ministry of Defence scandals, have yet to be taken to court. The rakyat is restless.

Najib's absence last week is the second time that his trial had been postponed. The first was on 11 September, for conjunctivitis, and on 18 September, his trial was also suspended, for a few hours, so a doctor could check his eyes.

Najib's illness, his lawyer's sickness, and the judge's reprimands for tardiness, and use of social media to publicise court proceedings, is a test of our patience. Why can't he be charged with contempt of court, or held on remand?

The IGP, Abdul Hamid Bador, said that Jho Low, was using his money to buy influence, while roaming freely and doing business in Cyprus. Abdul Hamid said that the police were negotiating with Cyprus to bring him back to Malaysia to face a slew of charges. He also admitted that the foreign authorities were not cooperative.

Jho Low's asylum is a humiliation for the Malaysian government. Controversial preacher, Zakir Naik, a man who is wanted in his native India, was given permanent residence and granted refuge in Malaysia. The Malaysian government has been given a dose of its own medicine.

Both Zakir and Jho Low, are allegedly wanted for money laundering and other crimes, but at least, Jho Low was not the inspiration for terrorist attacks around the world. Last May, the BBC reported that the Indian authorities had accused Zakir of money laundering, spreading hate speech and inciting terrorism.

Both Zakir and Jho Low are wealthy individuals, and know that money opens many doors. Zakir uses his knowledge of various religions to convince Malaysians, especially Muslims, that he is a peacemaker. Just throw Zakir a microphone, invite an audience to hear him talk, and before long they will reach an erroneous conclusion and be convinced that he is a wise man, and not an alleged inspiration for terrorism.

On the other hand, Jho Low, is an Old Harrovian, and during his schooldays, will have mixed and mingled with the sons of various royal families, who were sent to this boarding school. After leaving Harrow, Jho Low used the old boy network to forge business deals with his wealthy middle-eastern former schoolmates.

Both Zakir and Jho Low are alleged to have claimed that they would not get a fair trial in their respective homelands.

Either the Prime Minister of Malaysia, or the Minister of Foreign Affairs, should issue a statement to refute the allegation that Jho Low would not receive a fair trial. These are slurs on our judiciary, but will the Malaysian rakyat ever see justice in the 1MDB saga?

Najib must envy Jho Low's freedom, and will use every opportunity to postpone his conviction. - Mariam Mokhtar

Another Twist In The Hunt For Jho Low...

The hunt for fugitive Low Taek Jho aka Jho Low takes a new dimension as he is now know to have acquired a Cypriot passport.

He could not have changed his face to look like a “beruang” (bear) and body like a “seladang” (gaur) as this would deny him the right to hold a passport.

He is more likely to go under the knife to look like the devastatingly handsome Leonardo DiCaperio.

Why look like a scruffy bear when your 1MDB loot, even after having been partially surrendered to the US Department of Justice (DoJ), can make you look like DiCaprio or Humphrey Bogard?

After all he was living out a movie-life in Hollywood until we exposed him as being the mastermind and the bagman for the former Prime Minister, Mohd Najib Abdul Razak, sometime after the 2013 general elections.

He even used some of the money he and Mohd Najib looted from the 1MDB to fund the latter’s stepson – Riza Shahriz Abdul Aziz - in his venture into the Hollywood movie world.

The the picture above, Riza is squeezed in between Low and DiCaprio.

Now that we know that Jho Low has a Cypriot passport, it would logically be easier for us to track his down. With a valid passport, he may be inclined to travel more widely and could let his guard down.

Cypriot passport and citizenship could actually be obtained rather cheaply and openly from Euro2.15 million (about RM10 million) onward and Jho Low could have bought other for-sale passports as well.

So let’s do a Mossad and get our hands on him. This should not be too difficult since our law enforcement agencies and their top brass have been telling us that they know his whereabouts.

Let’s not beat around the bush anymore. Just dig him out of the worm hole, as promised, and bring him back to Malaysia kicking and screaming. - a.kadir jasin

Selagi belum genap dua tahun, biarlah Dr Mahathir jadi PM. - mso
