UMNO/PAS - PAS setuju Hadi jadi PM....
Image result for hadi awang nak jadi pm

Kita tertunggu-tunggu butiran piagam berkenaan.

Image may contain: 1 person

- mso

Hidden concerns from
UMNO-PAS cooperation...

The cooperation and interactions between Umno and PAS have always been a much watched political issue in the country. And now, these two parties have issued a joint statement to announce their official tie-up on September 14. The Umno-PAS tie-up will become a powerful Malay opposition force that will exert a tremendous level of pressure on the ruling PH coalition.

There have been unusual interactions between Umno and PAS even during Najib's time, and this was particularly obvious in the RUU355 issue. With Umno now reduced to an opposition party, the two parties are expected to step up their cooperation in the days to come. Umno was unable to openly forge a cooperation relationship with PAS during BN's time for fear this would infuriate the other BN component parties.

Now that Umno is no more a ruling party and the BN coalition is almost dead, Umno will have nothing to fear again. Umno realizes that it needs to work with PAS in order to pool together their resources to win more Malay votes and recapture Putrajaya. In the meantime, PAS is well aware that the party alone is not strong enough to gain access to Putrajaya.

Both parties need each other to win the next general elections. This naturally brings them much closer together. Both Umno and PAS have been at loggerheads for decades. To make a dramatic shift to embrace each other inevitably triggers powerful backlash from within the two parties. However, leaders at both parties have been doing this gradually for their grassroots members to slowly open up themselves to their former rivals.

The Umno-PAS marriage will constitute a powerful force in the Malay community, which is where the PH coalition is relatively weak in. The Malay votes were divided into three roughly equal segments in GE14, with BN winning between 35% and 40% of votes, followed by PAS 30-33% and PH 25-30%.

Politics is not mathematics, and in politics one plus one may not necessarily be equal to two. However, looking at the election numbers, an Umno-PAS tie-up is estimated to win at least half of all Malay votes, and this is bound to impact the ruling coalition heavily. As a matter of fact, judging from the cooperation between Umno and PAS in recent by-elections whereby they won three, their combined force must never be downplayed.

Umno's cooperation with PAS will nevertheless have a negative impact on the other BN component parties. The Chinese community, in particular, has been strongly resistant to PAS, making it much harder now for MCA to win the support of Chinese voters. No doubt a tie-up between Umno and PAS is an excellent strategy to fight PH. However, it will also arouse hidden concerns within the multicultural Malaysian society.

The two parties are adopting a racist and religious approach, and inter-community conflicts will intensify, creating more accentuated confrontation in our multicultural society. It is of tremendous importance how PH is going to respond to the Umno-PAS alliance.

PH must continue to uphold a more liberal and accommodating policy instead of competing with Umno-PAS on a racial/religious platform so that the country will not be plunged into vicious inter-community conflicts at the expense of national unity. - mysinschew

Image may contain: 1 person, text and outdoor

Saya pun malu bila suku-sakat saya sendiri kata: “Tak apalah yang curi duit tu dia bukan kita. Itu antara dia dengan Tuhanlah. Dia bagi kita ambil lah.”

Bukan ambil saja.

- A.Kadir Jasin

Najib Razak - IRB Inland Revenue Board - Owe Taxes RM1.69 Billion - WTF
It Would Take Him 1,766 Years
To Pay RM1.69 Billion In Taxes...

From May 2009 to April 2018, Najib Razak earned RM58,605.15 every month as the 6th Prime Minister of Malaysia. Prior to that, he took home RM48,681.65 as the country’s 9th deputy prime minister. On top of that, his monthly allowances were RM3,846.59 as PM and RM6,508.59 as MP (2011 to 2014). The allowances were later raised to RM19,846.59 (2015 to 2018).

In other words, Najib’s total salary from Parliament and his government positions entitled him a whopping RM78,451.74 – every month – before he stepped down after his humiliating defeat in the 14th General Election in May 2018. To make calculations easier, let’s assume he had been earning the monthly RM78,000 since 1976, the year he was elected to the Parliament replacing his deceased father.

And let’s assume Najib did not spend any of the money he earned in the last 42 years (from 1976 to 2018). Assuming also he did not put his money to work at all, his bank account would have RM39 million. Still, Mr. Najib will owe a whopping RM1,653,560,924 (that’s over RM1.65 billion, mind you) of unpaid income tax to the Inland Revenue Board (IRB).

Even if he could strike a deal with the taxmen to pay by installment of RM78,000 every month, income which he no longer earns, it would take him 21,199 months to settle his taxes. That’s about 1,766 years to pay the RM1.65 billion taxes. Even if a 90% discount is given, which is impossible, Najib needs to live another 176 years to settle his taxes.

Apparently, the Inland Revenue Board (IRB) or LHDN (Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri) filed the suit on June 25, demanding Najib pay RM1,692,872,924.83 allegedly owed between 2011 and 2017. The lawsuit was initiated after Najib – stubbornly and arrogantly – ignored the IRB’s initial demand in March this year for additional tax assessments of RM1.47 billion.
Image may contain: 1 person, text

Back in March, Mr. Najib reportedly had undeclared taxable income of close to RM4 billion between 2011 and 2017, including the infamous RM2.6 billion (US$681 million) that he has claimed was a donation received from the royal family of Saudi Arabia. That means Najib had not only evaded taxes, but also the only billionaire prime minister of the country.

As a result of his deliberate attempt to challenge the IRB, the initial RM1.47 billion of unpaid tax saw a 10% hike of RM147 million in April and another compounded 5% hike of RM80 million in May. Under Section 103 of the Income Tax Act, the former Malaysian leader must pay the initial RM1.47 billion within 30 days of the date the assessment notice was issued.

Section 103(1) says that any tax due should be paid on time “whether or not” you are appealing against the tax calculations (if there is a dispute). Section 103(3) goes on to say that the unpaid amount on the due date will be charged an extra 10%. On top of that, if that increased tax is not settled within 60 days, you’ll be slapped another 5% according to Section 103(4).

Muhammad Farhan Muhammad Shafee, Najib’s lawyer and the son of hotshot attorney Shafee Abdullah, said the case of “pay now and talk later” would adversely impact his client. He told reporters – “The amount to the tune of RM1.69 billion will effectively bankrupt my client and disqualify him as an MP (Member of Parliament).”

Najib’s attorney was also upset that the IRB’s lawyers have indicated that they would proceed to file an application for a summary judgment, even though the former premier was contesting the matter in court. Farhan said he would be filing for a stay of proceedings pending resolution of the assessment – “They are doing this even though there is an appeal on the tax assessment.”

As the son of the so-called hotshot lawyer Shafee, which part of Section 103(1) of the Income Tax Act that attorney Farhan doesn’t understand? It says that any tax due should be paid on time, whether or not you are appealing against the tax calculations – hence pay first, talk later. Of course, if Najib has trouble paying off that tax on time, he can always request to pay by installment under Section 107B.

In actual fact, as the former prime minister, Najib should be the last person crying, whining and bitching about being victimised by the tax men. During his regime, friends and those thought to be connected to then-opposition leader Mahathir Mohamad was being harassed by the previous Barisan Nasional government – including the misuse of the IRB to intimidate businessmen still loyal to Mahathir.

Image may contain: 1 person, eyeglasses, closeup and text

For example, Lee Kim Yew,  the founder and chairman of Country Heights Holdings Bhd (CHHB), revealed how his fixed deposits of about RM126 million placed in a foreign-owned bank was seized by the IRB. The “daylight robbery”, as Mahathir called them, was carried out by the taxmen during the Najib regime to claim tax liabilities against Country Heights Sdn Bhd (CHSB), a subsidiary of of CHHB.

The tax liabilities were accrued from the years of assessment of 1997 and 1998, during the Asian Financial Crisis. Mr. Lee thought corporate tax liability and personal tax liability were two separate things. Wrong! As far as crooked Najib was concerned, it was perfectly alright to snatch away Lee’s personal cash to pay for his company’s tax liabilities.

As a result, the loyal supporter of Mahathir had to liquidate his assets to settle the income tax bill. Lee Kim Yew eventually was forced to pay RM22.7 million, including penalties, to the IRB. To humiliate Lee Kim Yew for supporting Mahathir’s campaign against Najib, the IRB was also instructed to charge billionaire Lee under AMLA (Anti Money Laundering Act) for trying to launder his “legitimate” money.

Mahathir once criticised the Najib administration – ” You know he (Lee) had paid all these taxes, but they (IRB) said he had to personally pay as well. The IRB charged people with no evidence. They said, ‘you must pay and if you don’t, then we will freeze your accounts’. So, his work and all that had to be stopped and that is how he (Najib) tortures people.”

Slamming Najib’s bully tactic, Mahathir said – “If you are seen to be close to me, you will be visited by the income tax department and by the tax people and they made ridiculous demands. Even though you have shown evidence that you have paid in full, they said no you haven’t paid. So many people had their bank accounts frozen. They couldn’t do any business.”

Malaysia Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri LHDN - Inland Revenue Department IRD

But the boss of CHHB was not alone. Mahathir’s son was also targeted in 2017 when Mokhzani Mahathir’s Kencana Capital Sdn Bhd office was raided by the Inland Revenue Board (IRB), along with the offices of Mahathir’s two other sons. Now that Najib has fallen, it the despicable crook is now tasting his own medicine – only many times worse.

It’s hard to see how the IRB could bend over and grant special privilege to Najib, when every taxpayer would be subject to the same “pay first, talk later” rules whenever they didn’t pay or underpaid their taxes. And since Najib owes more than RM50,000, he could potentially be declared a bankrupt, hence disqualify him as MP for Pekan, unless he miraculously receives RM1.69 billion donations from Saudi royal family.

As a bankrupt, the least Najib should worry is that he can only use his existing credit card up to the amount of RM1,000. All his assets and properties will vest on the Director General of Insolvency (DGI) and the DGI has the responsibility to sell all such assets. In case Najib thinks he could cleverly transfer all his assets and properties to his wife or children, don’t bother.

Under the Bankruptcy Act, any settlement or transfer of property shall be void against the DGI if the settler becomes a bankrupt within 2 years after the date of settlement. Heck, the court might order Najib to pay part of his income derived from allowance as MP to the DGI. More importantly, Najib can kiss goodbye his plan to return as prime minister again in the 15th General Election.

The Inland Revenue Board (IRB) says you can be audited for up to 5 years of assessment, and there is no time limit on the audit if there is fraud or tax evasion. According to the Income Tax Act of 1967, tax evaders could face fines of RM1,000 to RM20,000 or imprisonment or both, and 300% of tax undercharged. So, Najib has a bigger problem than just bankruptcy. - FT

Conspiracy after conspiracy....
Image may contain: 2 people

There has been a fair deal of “conspiracies” of late, beginning with the sex video scandal, followed closely by two Perak state excos being alleged of sexually abusing an Indonesian maid and leaking government secrets respectively.

Finally we have some new developments in the month-long sex video scandal. Former senior private secretary to deputy primary industries minister Haziq Abdullah Abdul Aziz and five others have been arrested in connection with this case, and the police have also seized 13 handsets, and the six men have been remanded for six days to assist in the investigation.

It is said that the video has been a political ploy meant to take out economic affairs minister Azmin Ali. IGP Abdul Hamid Bador revealed several days ago that the police had identified the mastermind suspected of creating and circulating the sex video as well as his accomplices. The police believe there is a group of people behind this whole thing.

Among those detained are PKR members. This shows that Azmin's accusation that the video was spread by people within his party had not been unfounded. This revelation could as well trigger a tremendous internal storm within PKR.

As for the irregularities involving Perak excos, DAP state chairman Nga Kor Ming said it was unusual and was by no means coincidental to have such things happening in succession lately, in view of the 2009 power seizure of the then Pakatan Rakyat state government.

Teman Semburit

In the 14th general elections last year, Pakatan Harapan won 29 of the 59 state assembly seats, while Umno and PAS won 27 and 3 respectively, resulting in a hung state assembly. PH later managed to form the new state government only after two Umno reps voiced their support for PH.

If two state by-elections were to be held again and PH were to lose both, then the PH state government would collapse, and Umno-PAS would take over. As a matter of fact, Umno's state assemblyman Saarani Mohamad revealed that DAP's state exco cum Tebing Tinggi state assemblyman Abdul Aziz Bari had contacted five Umno reps in a ploy to overthrow menteri besar Ahmad Faizal Azumu.

Ahmad Faizal is the only elected PPBM rep in the state assembly, while DAP has 18 seats. It is not easy for Umno to try to create trouble between DAP and PPBM. Saarani repeated the same story this April.

DAP's state exco Paul Yong was recently accused of rape, while PKR's state exco Abdul Yunus Jamhari was alleged by his former aide of leaking government secrets and corruption. It is up to the police and MACC to investigate whether such allegations have also been politically motivated, and it is still premature for anyone to jump to a conclusion now.

That said, Abdul Yunus claimed that the accusation was meant to kill his political career, and that the accusation began since the party's elections last year as he was backing the party's deputy president Azmin Ali. According to him, this is a political conspiracy, and the person lodging the police report was Beh Yong Kean, Kerian district officer from the same party, not a rival party.

Farhash Wafa

State PKR chairman Farhash Wafa rebutted Abdul Yunus's accusation that his alleged involvement in corruption was a political ploy related to the party's ongoing infighting. Farhash said the incident was purely a conflict between Abdul Yunus and his former aide and divisional deputy chairman, and had nothing to do at all with party president Anwar Ibrahim.

Farhash, Anwar's political secretary, was said to have disappeared soon after Azmin's sex video scandal came into light. However, he denied the allegation by blogger Raja Petra Kamarudin that he was arrested with Haziq at KLIA while preparing to accompany the latter on a trip to the Philippines. He said it was nonsense to implicate him in the sex scandal.

Additionally, someone circulated a video on the social media alleging Selangor menteri besar Amirudin Shari, an Azmin confidant, of sharing a Sandakan hotel room with Bukit Melawati state assemblywoman Juwairiya Zulkifli, also from PKR, on May 11 (Sandakan by-election day) Apparently the power struggle within the party's central leadership has now spread to Perak and Selangor, and could affect the stability of the state administrations if things get out of hand.

In the meantime, former PM Najib claimed that he was tipped by a PH supreme council member that DAP veteran leader Lim Kit Siang was behind the formation of PPBM, while Umno's vice president Mahdzir Khalid claimed that Lim was also behind the formation of Amanah, calling the DAP leader the “father of Malay disunity”. - sinchewdaily

Aduhai Keadilan,jangan menang
jadi arang,kalah jadi debu...

Jangan biarkan Najib terus ketawa mengejek.-mso

Najib Belanja RM3.3 juta Membeli Belah...

- Rafizi Ramli

Jangan terlalu mudah menunding jari....

12. Bertolak dari prinsip itulah akhirnya penjajah British TERPAKSA tunduk kepada tuntutan orang Melayu - mahukan KEMERDEKAAN!

13. Justeru, tepat jam 12.00 tengah malam pada 31hb Ogos 1957, rakyat menitiskan air mata kegembiraan melihat buat pertama kalinya bendera negara kita sendiri dikibarkan bagi menggantikan bendera Union Jack.

Jawatan dan kuasa boleh
menghancur apa saja...

- MSO

Mahathir-Anwar Power Transition -
Its all about who will be the next DPM...

Anwar Ibrahim’s ambition to become the 5th Prime Minister of Malaysia was crushed when then-PM Mahathir Mohamad sacked him in 1998. Mr. Anwar, who served as the deputy prime minister from 1993 to 1998 under Dr. Mahathir, was declared not fit to be the next premier for corrupt practices and sodomy – allegations that many believed was politically motivated.

Mr. Anwar was jailed in April 1999 anyway. Crying injustice over his sacking, he kick started “Reformasi”, a protest movement that began in September 1998 and spread like wildfire throughout the country. As the momentum started to build, a new multiracial-based party – Parti Keadilan Nasional or National Justice Party (KEADILAN) – was formed in 1999.

On 3 August 2003, KEADILAN merged with Parti Rakyat Malaysia (PRM) to become the current party – Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) or People’s Justice Party. While Anwar was locked behind bars, his wife, Wan Azizah led the party and increased its parliamentary representation from one seat to 31 seats in the 2008 General Election.

Upon his release in 2004, Anwar became the opposition de-facto leader who was instrumental in the formation of the now-defunct Pakatan Rakyat coalition. The new formidable opposition coalition would build the critical foundation leading to the ultimate defeat of the once invincible ruling Barisan Nasional government in 2018, which had ruled since independence in 1957.

In the same year that Anwar began a 5-year prison sentence in 2015, after a second sodomy conviction was upheld under Najib administration, Pakatan Rakyat was dissolved and a new opposition coalition – Pakatan Harapan (Alliance of Hope) – was formed. Armed with 50 parliamentary seats won in the May 2018 general election, PKR is today the biggest party in the ruling coalition.

So, today’s Anwar is a different animal from 1998’s Anwar. Back then, prior to his sacking, Anwar was seen as an arrogant, corrupt, power-crazy, impatient – even a racist and an extremist – UMNO leader. More importantly, he was kicked out of UMNO with nothing but the shirt on his back. But he refused to go down tamely and fought for over 20 years to make a comeback.

Mahathir and Anwar

That probably explains why Mahathir said he trusts in Anwar’s capability of leading the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition due to his history of leading the now-defunct Pakatan Rakyat. The prime minister said in an interview in April – “He left UMNO and he was able to bring DAP, PAS even, and his party together, so he has leadership qualities.”

In the same interview with the New Straits Times, Mahathir also revealed why Anwar is a more “acceptable” leader than former PM Najib – “I think that to have Anwar replace a person like Najib is more acceptable than to have Najib carry on, so I decided that I would work with Anwar … between Najib and Anwar, I think Najib is a worse leader than Anwar. Najib is the worst leader!”

Hence, to suggest that the 94-year-old Mahathir will not hand over his power to Anwar, as consistently trumpeted by the opposition and Anwar haters, is quite silly. It’s even sillier to suggest that Mahathir is more willing to partner with UMNO and PAS for the sake of Malay unity than to honour his promise of power transition to Anwar, especially now that Najib has returned as UMNO adviser.

Exactly to whom should Mahathir pass the baton if he forms an alliance with enemies like UMNO or PAS, knowing very well that not only Najib is enjoying his life a free man, he is also more popular now than when he was the prime minister? It would be back to the square one, risking Najib becoming premier again, if Mahathir breaks his promise on the power transition plan.

Even if Mahathir wanted to perform another sodomy stunt on Anwar just to stop his former deputy from taking over the premiership, he can’t. As mentioned, today’s Anwar is different from 1998’s Anwar. Today’s Anwar has in his possession 50 parliamentary seats. Even if his deputy president Azmin Ali defects to Mahathir’s camp, he could do very little damage considering his homosexual scandal.

Image result for Anwar and Muhyiddin Yassin
 Anwar  and Muhyiddin Yassin

In the name of friendship, comradeship and principle, DAP, with 42 parliamentary seats, would most likely throw their support behind Anwar if Mahathir goes rogue and betrays the existing coalition. In the same breath, the friendship between Lim Guan Eng and Mohamad “Mat” Sabu would probably see Amanah (11 parliamentary seats) swings its support for Anwar too.

But why can’t Mahathir set a date to ensure a smooth transition to Anwar, and eliminate dangerous rumours and speculations once and for all? It’s all about the post of deputy prime minister, traditionally second-in-command who would become the next prime minister. It’s a public knowledge that Deputy PM Wan Azizah is just warming up the seat for her husband, Anwar Ibrahim.

Wan Azizah’s role is extremely critical in the event unexpected misfortune happens to the 94-year-old prime minister. While Mahathir has repeated himself until foaming at the mouth that Anwar will take over once he steps down eventually, what is unknown is who will be crowned as the deputy prime minister. For obvious reason, it cannot be an ethnic Chinese from DAP.

Multiracial Chinese-majority DAP, however, has a stabilizing role of safeguarding the status quo that neither Mahathir nor Anwar will go ballistic and start a nuclear war against each other, similar to the dramatic escalation between Donald Trump and Kim Jong-Un. That’s why the opposition repeatedly stirs up racial and religion sentiments among the Malays that the Muslims and Malay Rulers have lost power to DAP.

To ensure stability, the next second-in-command has to come from Mahathir’s party, PPBM (Bersatu). The ideal plan is to rotate the prime minister and the deputy prime minister among PKR and Bersatu leaders. So, when Anwar becomes the PM, his deputy must be someone from ally Bersatu. And once Anwar steps down, the next premier will come from Bersatu and the deputy post goes to PKR.

Image result for Anwar Muhyiddin Yassin, and Mukhriz
Anwar and Mukhriz Mahathir

The problem with Bersatu is it seriously lacks talents. That’s understandable as the party was founded only in September 7, 2016, as compared to 20-year-old PKR. In fact, Azmin Ali was meant to be groomed as the next deputy PM, and not PM, once he defects to Mahathir’s camp. Mahathir had never hinted in any way that Azmin is to succeed him as the next PM.

It was the foolish and impatient Azmin who thought he was the best invention since sliced bread. After the explosive homosexual video clips, there’s no way to promote Azmin as the deputy PM representing Bersatu, let alone the next prime minister. The battle for the position of deputy PM has gotten clearer and interesting with the remarks from Mukhriz in an interview with the Nikkei Asian Review.

PM Mahathir’s son Mukhriz Mahathir told all and sundry that there is no agreed timeframe of two years for his father to pass on the prime minister post to PM-in-waiting Anwar Ibrahim. So, while both Mahathir and Anwar had an agreement on the succession plan, the 2-year timeframe for the handover did not exist. More importantly, Mukhriz said his father should be given time to fix Malaysia’s economic and financial issues.

In the same interview with Nikkei, the Mahathir’s son also said he is prepared to follow in his father’s footsteps. Why did he say that? Clearly, Mukhriz was trying to buy time when he claimed the non-existence 2-year power transition timeframe. He needed time to consolidate his power in order to be appointed as the deputy prime minister to continue the Mahathir Dynasty.

That explains why Mukhriz Mahathir proposed earlier this month for the top three positions in the party – chairman, president and deputy president – to be uncontested in the coming (PPBM or Bersatu) party polls. Conveniently, Mukhriz is the deputy president while his father is the chairman and Muhyiddin Yassin is the president. He also said that the “one member one vote” system could be reviewed.

Image result for Anwar Muhyiddin Yassin, Mahathir Mohamad and Mukhriz
Muhyiddin Yassin and Mukhriz Mahathir

Like UMNO’s existing structure where its president is chosen from 191 division chiefs, Mahathir and his fifth child Mukhriz wanted to ultimately replicate the same model into their party Bersatu. Such model will create the corrupt warlord system, but it’s easier to control (or rather bribe) 191 warlords than to buy votes from hundreds of thousands or millions of party members.

Interestingly, Mukhriz claims that while he is not really ambitious to become the next prime minister after Anwar, he remains open if opportunity arises. His message was clear – that Anwar must support him as the next deputy prime minister if Anwar wants a smooth power transition from his father Mahathir. But the problem with Mukhriz is his lack of experience and popularity.

Born with a silver spoon like Najib Razak, everything that Mukhriz has today was being given on a silver platter by virtue of him being the son of Mahathir Mohamad. Even as the chief minister of a small state Kedah, his achievement has been average at best. In the dog-eat-dog Malay politics, it would be a miracle if Mukhriz could without his daddy’s watch and protection.

Alternatively, Anwar could appoint Muhyiddin as his deputy prime minister, with Minister Mentor Mahathir monitoring from behind the scene. Assuming Mahathir agrees to pass his baton and the PH government could get two-thirds Parliament majority to limit the premier’s tenure to 2 terms (max 10 years) by next year, the year would be 2030 when PM Anwar steps down.

In 2030, Muhyiddin will be 82 years old, if he could outlive his pancreatic cancer cells. At 64 years old, Mukhriz could still comfortably take over from Anwar. But most likely Muhyiddin could babysit Mukhriz for 1 term before retires for good, paving the way for the son of Mahathir to assume the role as deputy prime minister in 2025, at a healthy age of 59 years old.

Of course, if Muhyiddin doesn’t mind, the country can always have two deputy prime ministers in the form of Muhyiddin and Mukhriz, just so that Mahathir can have a peace of mind that his son is being taken care of. Mukhriz will have 10 years to learn the rope, and hopefully he will not become as corrupt as Najib, since the son of Mahathir was already a very wealthy man today. - FT

Duit RM4 bilion dah lesap habis digunakan.

Akhirnya tak mampu nak bayar balik hutang RM4 bilion.. Najib mintak lagi buat hutang dari kerajaan beratus2 juta ringgit sebab nak bayar hutang balik kepada KWAP.

Azmin under siege...

Several days ago, Azmin Ali was greeted with boos while delivering a speech during the Felda Settlers' Day in his capacity as economic affairs minister. The situation came as a big embarrassment for Prime Minister Tun Mahathir Mohamad and other cabinet members present at the event. I have no idea what Mahathir would think and whether his support for Azmin would be shaken.

Sure enough Azmin was not booed squarely because of the sex video scandal, as it could be due to the Felda settlers' frustration with the PH government. Whatever reason for the outburst, it has already dealt an additional blow on Azmin, putting him in a very unfavourable situation.

As the economic affairs minister, Azmin's performance is hardly encouraging. In a sluggish national economy, his lacklustre performance has made him a liability for the PH government. Political observers discover that Azmin has spent more time and effort in his ministry and public affairs only after the sex video scandal came into light.

On a personal front, Azmin and his camp have reiterated that he is innocent and has been framed by other people in the sex video scandal. However, they have failed to convince the public that he was not guy in the video. Actually no one is bothered so much about whether Azmin has been framed because in the cognition of many, this has become very much an integral part of Malaysia's political game. As long as he cannot prove his innocence, his eligibility as a political leader will come under public scepticism.

The same charges were hurled at Anwar Ibrahim 20 years ago. The difference is that the public were overwhelmingly supporting Anwar back then, seeing him as the impersonation of justice in confronting the power to be. And because of popular support, Anwar had been able to go on fighting with Mahathir and subsequently Najib, at times even initiating massive rallies in support of him. By comparison, Azmin looks so much more helpless and lonely save the staunch backing from Mahathir and his own camp.

Azmin's destiny to a very large extent depends on the outcome of police investigation. The longer the delay, the more difficult for him to get back to the normal political track. As if that is not enough, Azmin's rivals do not seem to contented just that. Haziq claimed that they not only had sex in Sandakan but elsewhere in the country, including luxurious hotels in Kuching and Kuala Lumpur, and that he would show the videos if necessary.

Unhappy with the much delayed police investigation, Umno's Lokman vowed to take the video overseas for expert verification. Time is not on Azmin or Mahathir's side. Azmin is no longer the most ideal candidate to succeed Mahathir, nor the best ally to fight Mahathir's rivals.

The prime minister has called for a grand unity among the Malays by accommodating Umno and PAS members. Does this announcement hint that the PM is about to abandon Azmin and is trying to get the support from outside PH to firm up his rule?

Azmin is now under siege, and he only has three options now: to stay in PKR, but his strength will be continually eroded and he will lose his dominance in the party; to join PPBM, but the scandal-tainted leader may not be welcome by everyone in the party; or to form a new party, which some say is what Azmin is actively doing now.

The question is: will he get enough supporters to go through the thick and thin with him and start everything afresh? - sinchewdaily

Maka kecurlah seluruh dunia.

Setelah disiasat polis, Paul pun dibebaskan.

Cis. - MSO

Menteri Pengakutan vs PAS...

Najib Razak and Zahid Hamidi - Crooks Laughing
Najib and Zahid May Be Plotting How
To Strip And Plunder UMNO Assets...

When Mahathir Mohamad openly invited all Malay parties, including the UMNO, to join his party PPBM (Bersatu) under the pretext of Malay unity, it raises eyebrows. To the people who had shed sweat, tears and probably even blood bringing down the corrupt and toxic UMNO last May General Election, the prime minister’s invitation was seen as a betrayal of the highest degree.

For a while, Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, the UMNO president who suddenly made an unexpected but shameless comeback from his so-called garden leaves, thought that Mahathir’s invitation was like a gift from the God. Could it mean his prayers have been answered and his record 87 corruption charges would be dropped and he gets to walk away scot free if he joins the old man’s party?

Zahid probably had slapped his face a couple of times in disbelief over the offer. Even his colleague, Khairy Jamaluddin, son-in-law of former PM Abdullah Badawi, has advised his party UMNO to give a serious thought to the invitation to join hands with rival Bersatu. Khairy too believed the offer was too good to be ignored. Clearly, life as an opposition is too tough after ruling the country for 61 years.

The next warlord who was equally excited to the extent he almost orgasm at the proposal was Hishammuddin Hussein, the cousin of former PM Najib Razak. He too said UMNO’s top leaders should not dismiss any chance of a new political cooperation if it can unite their race, even though his reason to join Mahathir is to gain immunity from prosecution over past corruptions.

But Zahid Hamidi figured he had to play hard to get. After all, his party has 37 MPs, more than Mahathir’s party which possesses only 26 MPs. It probably crossed Zahid’s mind that he might not be accepted. But if Mahathir wants to acquire UMNO, it has to be sold as a complete package. Hence, the UMNO president rejected the prime minister’s invitation.

Najib Razak - Malu Apa Bossku - Why The Shame Boss
Najib Razak - Malu Apa Bossku

The 93-year-old Mahathir later made an incredible clarification. His invitation apparently was for “members” of other Malay-based parties – not the Malay parties. So, Zahid’s illusion, and Najib’s for that matter, that the ruling Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition would be enlarged to accept UMNO as a new component for the sake of Malay unity was crushed.

To be fair, everyone had the perception that Mahathir’s offer was for Malay parties, including UMNO Malay nationalist party and PAS Islamist party, to join the ruling Pakatan Harapan coalition. Perhaps the premier was a bit senile. But it’s also absolutely possible that the old fox was testing the water, having fun watching crook like Zahid Hamidi squirming and begging to be invited.

Essentially, Mahathir’s clarification that UMNO as a party cannot join Pakatan closes the door for big time crooks like Najib Razak, Zahid Hamidi, Tengku Adnan and Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim, just to name a few, from any immunity deal. The line has been drawn. Those crooks can never be forgiven as long as Mahathir sits on the throne.

Two days ago (July 9), out of the blue, ex-PM Najib was appointed chairman of Barisan Nasional (BN) advisory board, whatever that means. His appointment was unanimously agreed upon by the BN Supreme Council. The funny thing about welcoming the crook back to BN is that there was previously no advisory board. The post was created specially for Najib.

Exactly what can Najib advise the BN now when the same coalition was defeated under the leadership of the same man in the May 9th General Election last year? If he is such a gem, he should not have had stepped down as UMNO president after BN’s defeat in the 14th General Election. It’s an educated guess that both Najib and Zahid had planned to make the comeback together.

Khairy, probably the smartest man left in UMNO, said he was not happy with the return of his former boss Najib. He had earlier expressed his displeasure at the comeback of Zahid too. Hishammuddin has opted to play safe, offering neither support nor objection to the return of his cousin. Surprisingly, the biggest critic came from Nazri Aziz, once the biggest supporter of Najib in his 1MDB scandal.

Image result for khairy and nazri aziz
Khairy and Nazri Aziz

Nazri said – “Who did we lose under (in the last general election)? What kind of advice can he give us? I think it is regressive.” Does the appointment of Najib as UMNO adviser prove that neither the leaderships of acting president Mohamed Hasan nor president Zahid Hamidi were effective, despite the trumpeted propaganda that UMNO and PAS alliance will crush the current government?

On the surface, Najib’s comeback looks positive. Like a white knight in shining armour, he could inject his fund – “Malu Apa Bossku (Why The Shame, Boss) moniker” – into UMNO and rejuvenate the almost bankrupt corrupt party. But if even his cheerleader Nazri could smell a rat with the return of his former boss, the crooked Najib is definitely up to something not good.

The last time Najib modified the constitution of SRC International Sdn. Bhd., a subsidiary of 1MDB, at an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) to make him the “adviser emeritus” of the company, he controlled the company and ordered retirement fund KWAP to loan RM4 billion to SRC, a company known as “Najib’s company”.

Yes, Najib’s express appointment as the adviser to UMNO, a non-existent position previously, has very little to do with strengthening the party. It was actually a humiliation to UMNO Council of Advisors chairman Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah, who was surprised at Najib’s appointment. Effectively, Najib’s new role as an adviser will make Razaleigh’s role redundant and obsolete.

It’s both entertaining and amusing that the foolish Razaleigh has thrown his support behind Najib, not realising that the crook has come back to plunder the party’s coffers. Coincidentally, all the crooks – Najib Razak, Zahid Hamidi and Tengku Adnan – are part of the roundtable plotting how to strip UMNO assets as the party faces the prospect of de-registration.

Image result for najib, zahid n ku nan
Tengku Adnan, Zahid Hamidi and Najib Razak

It was reported that UMNO once has assets totalling RM100 billion under proxies, trustees and nominees. UMNO president and its treasurer, who happens to be Zahid Hamidi and Tengku Adnan respectively, are a handful of leaders currently possessed the information of all the asset holders. However, the dumb Zahid probably was clueless as to how to recover the assets.

That explains the real reason as to why Zahid suddenly made a comeback from his garden leave, and the sudden appointment of Najib as BN adviser. Obviously, Najib cannot be made the UMNO Council of Advisors chairman since Razaleigh occupies the position. If there’s one man who can plunder and steal UMNO’s remaining assets, that man has to be Najib Razak.

Mr Treasurer Tengku Adnan was tasked with tracking down UMNO’s cash and property since last October. By now, he should have a list of assets belonging to the party. Sure, over the time, not all of the RM100 billion can be recovered. But there should be billions worth of assets left. Recently, UMNO sold its 123 million shares in Media Prima Bhd for RM73.81 million.

UMNO secretary-general Annuar Musa has announced that the party will sell more assets to boost its finance and cash-flow. UMNO members should start tracking where that money is being parked. Facing the likelihood of being declared illegal, Najib’s wide experience in money laundering is definitely useful in advising how to transfer cash out of UMNO to unknown entities.

To fight the present government, UMNO and BN need truckloads of money to mobilize its supporters. Selling assets for cash is one thing. Siphoning them for the rainy day is another thing. The very fact that Najib’s appointment was done with such secrecy, so much so that even Razaleigh was kept in the dark, speaks volumes that the crook’s mission isn’t just to blow his horn about “Bossku”. - FT
